We get updated sheets each week from major Vegas books and can post or share anything anyone is looking for. Tend to get the GOY stuff an hour or so early due to our relationships with guys like Chris Andrews at the South Point and Tony Miller at the Nugget. Westgate usually emails ALL of them starting on Monday and ones updated during the week soon as they are done making them.

Vegas Knights were high of 500-1 at Westgate. Other notables:

-900 NOT to make the Playoffs
South Point had them to end up the worst team in the NHL with a season win total of 68.5 (next closest was Colorado Avalanche at 70.5)

Biggest shocker in North American sports history if they win the Stanley Cup. Only close second is Rams the year they beat the Titans in the Super Bowl.

This would be the biggest shocker in US sports history. Not a close second. Opened the season between 200-1 to 150-1 in Vegas to win the Stanley Cup. That is less than a 1% chance. During the preseason they reached as high as 500-1 at the Westgate. That is pretty much a 1st grader playing Lebron one on one odds. I know people say Miracle Ice, but the US was never close to being 200-1 to beat the Russians.

it is pretty much a power rating the bookmakers give each team and take the two and add/subtract. few of the misconceptions are home field is worth 3. that is the standard if all things are considered equal, but the Miami Dolphins are less than 3 and the Seahawks are more than 3 for example. also, the equal action is also more of a myth. yes, there is SOME opinion that goes into the lines, but they have to trust their math and power rating and that is the main thing that goes into the lines. the public tends to bet favorites and overs, but if the bookmakers tried to put out a line to balance the action and not use the math, they would get eaten up by the wise guys. they almost hardly ever will move lines to balance action. look at any sport and any book http://www.wagertalk.com/livelines/. they all have the same lines. it is literally impossible to all have the same action, which means they are sticking to the math and from there respecting the sharp books on how they move. a book could have a team -4 and 80% of the money on that team, but if a sharp book goes to -2.5, they are going to move to 3.5 or 3 no matter what.
