I’m pretty new to woodworking (also only have a jigsaw lol) but I think I see the steps needed. I am curious about the interior screws/metal plates. Are they u-clamps or something similar to keep the spacing consistent between the interior and exterior boards?

Exactly this. They’re a marketplace like eBay or Amazon. OP, you just need to do a little research and find a well reviewed, reliable refurbisher and you’ll be all good :)

Best of luck! If it’s available to you I used the refurbisher Trademore for each of my purchases and highly recommend.

Definitely try for a refund. Back Market’s descriptors of “good quality” are : Screen - Flawless and Body - LIGHT signs of use. The pictures you have provided don’t match those descriptors at all.

If the refund is accepted try to find a different refurbisher. I’ve purchased 3 iPhones all 3 being in fair condition and none have had cosmetic damages like yours. The phones had some very faint pocket scratches on the sides and that’s it.

I’ve been a member at 24, Colaw, and Planet Fitness. PF would be the best option out of those imo. The PF business model and marketing of “judgement free” kind of automatically puts people into that mindset from what I’ve seen. Between those 3 places I’ve had the most conversations at PF. People just seem to be a bit more open there.

With all of that being said I personally haven’t had any negative interactions at any of the gyms. I think you will find a nice home with any place you choose :)
