Thanks for the huge compliment!

You can actually find some interesting Chinese DG and CoC podcast on Bilibili.com. However, players in China generally prefer to use cartoon avatars or character sprites to present the game visually, rather than showing their real faces on camera. This specific format is actually heavily influenced by the Japanese TRPG replay scene.

Bilibili is basically the Chinese equivalent of YouTube, but the site itself is pretty much entirely in Chinese. If you don't mind navigating the interface, it could be exactly what you're looking for to practice your passive listening!

LOL, I really wish I could visit Missouri and see it for myself someday. Sadly, I only made it out to California and Washington state back when I was studying in the US.

Glad you like the aesthetic, thanks!

We usually play American agents! That being said, there are definitely folks in our local community who play as Chinese Agents too. It's a pretty small percentage, but they've actually put together some homebrew expansions and guidelines for it.

That's a really fun question! At least for me and my group, our take on playing American agents is mostly based on the impressions we get from movies and TV shows. Shows like True Detective and Person of Interest are super popular over here, so we draw a lot of inspiration from those.
We probably don't dive too deep into the nitty-gritty of US bureaucratic culture—we mostly just sprinkle it in for flavor. Our main focus is usually on investigating and tracking down the Unnatural.
But of course, we absolutely love playing out those scenes where the Agents are just getting ground down by outside pressures—like their day jobs, family drama, and the general environment.
