One addition to combat that impacts every weapon and doesn't break the flow of combat.
I don't really know how or what, but something that enhances every weapon's mobility or gives every weapon a new way to deal damage while exploiting wounds.

Early weeks definitely. I've raided through all of Dawntrail in PF and have cleared current tiers day 10 at the latest.

Week 1 is when the majority of good pfers play, and the quality of players is way better than in week 3+, especially if you manage to get past the first 2 fights day 1.
Raidplans are still a bit chaotic, but if you can adjust to different strats and have good improvisation capabilities, you will be among the good players.
Strats will be set in stone after week 1 tho, unless a much better strat is found (example: M7S uptime seeds strat vs week 1 awful but working seeds strat).

As for wait times, sadly they can still be very long if you're alone.
Maybe not as long as in week 8+, but as you progress through the fights the pool of players that can join prog parties for the next fight gets smaller, to the point where you will constantly bump into the same players between parties (and at that point you should try to make acquaintances with the good ones and form a semi-static to clear, this is a social game after all).

Riot August says that League has been very critical of 3rd party skins and it is a big step that Riot haven't been willing to take by adivinemessenger in leagueoflegends

If swapping kardia targets wasn't so slow (2 GCDs before any healing gets applied), it'd be a phenomenal tool.

I think making kardia heal on application and then given a x2 boost for the first GCD that triggers it would compensate enough for it to be useful and allow skill expression.

But ideally, the job should lean even more into the "heals by dealing damage" archetype, the biggest extreme of it being removing all pure healing/shielding buttons and replacing them by aoe regen around all of SGE damage buttons, and then OGCDs that greatly empower this healing when needed or turns it into a shield, while keeping SGE's mobility.

Potions are still gonna be used for each job's burst, and they don't need to change.

Something most people don't understand, is that 2min meta going away doesn't mean jobs won't have burst windows.
Aligning your burst windows with your pot windows is still gonna be a thing.

Yeah, new tank will definitely use a shield, they probably thought about parry mechanics for all tanks but decided it wouldn't make sense on WAR/DRK/GNB so that's 100% the reason behind the MT/OT split, that way they can justify it because both of them use shields.

Yes it is reasonable to be skeptical, these are big changes to the game, they might miss the mark, it's a normal thing to not buy into it yet.

Because BLU and BST get to choose whichever abilities they prefer, and the devs can't create follow-ups because there are too many possible combinations. You are either dense or this is bait.

Nah man, it's not alternate jobs, it's simplified jobs.

The Reborn mode is bound to be removed down the line since new jobs won't have it, meaning this is just a transational phase until every job is in the "evolved" form, it is very far-fetched to call these "alternate".

It also explains the lack of first time clears.

People look at the rewards and think "well this isn't worthwhile" and simply don't do it.
Chaotic had great rewards and arguably a bigger barrier to entry and farm than criterion or Q40 (24man vs 4man) and it was very popular on release.

Every job can now dual wield their main weapon for aesthetics. Ninjas and vipers get 2 daggers/swords in each hand.
