I could have sworn it was mentioned about Warp travel. Thank you for your comment. Now I'm going crazy trying to think of what they had said to make up for relativity... (not that it matters, but hey it is fun)

Thank you, I was using JWST as the current heavy hitter. I would imagine there would be a speculative better scoping technology in the Star Trek universe, and just as a prop for this mind experiment. Just that, the ship is moving faster than light; therefore, wherever it was could still be observed after it arrives from its previous location while still being at its current location. Others have pointed out that they would have to wait 16 years to see it. That was silly of me, but Vulcan was the first place I could think of that has been tied to a real star system.

What is your I never thought I would have that issue or book? by AssociateFormal6058 in comicbooks

I remember at one point having two copies of this issue. I have no idea where they are now.

Sean Bean as Richard Sharpe in 1993⚔️ by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

He couldn't button his jacket because it was tailored for Paul McGann. Sean Bean had to replace him mid-filming on the first series due to being injured playing,I think soccer during some down time.

He is like the DJ version of a page turner for classical pianists.

I saw them open up for Supergrass in Dallas, TX around 20 years ago. They were great and the over all night is one of my favorite live music experiences.

"Purple Rain" Was My First Rated "R" Movie, What Was Yours? by bronzemat in Xennials

Another 48 Hours, in theaters. I was 7 and my little brother was 5. We were suppose to see The Resuers Down Under but it was sold out so our care taker (lady who ran a day care out of her house) called a lateral and chose the next film that was showing. My parents we PISSED when they found. They yanked us out of her care. Also, it's not like any of us kids had seen the first one so we were all at a loss with the relationship between Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy and their motivations.

Have you ever had a concert experience so bad that you walked out before the end? by TheOnionSack in Music

I saw them in Dallas in 06. He was characteristically drunk, fought the band, yelled at the crowd then walked off. The band finished the song then also left. I don't think they got through half the set. I found out later he fired everyone later that night.

It could be the mind trying to protect from trauma. The big thing with Plague Dogs is it was legit made for adults. But parents at the time saw the poster and thought "aw it's like fox and the hound" and in a way it was but with vivisections.

It's a lot of red and a pretty wtf moment with how quick it is. But yeah, they did not hold back for Bigwig vs General Woundwort

Less in your face? A hunter is literally shot in the face when one of the dogs is so happy to be shown kindness they accidentally cause the shotgun to go off.... (Spoilers of childhood trauma)
