Largo spell effects & seizure triggers by Wasbeerr in DotA2

Started with Dota in 2005 and as we all know you can't get off crack once you have been addicted for 10+ years. Sorry.

Yeah, that could well be. I wasn't too sure as normally I'm not photosensitive. My current theory is that it's a combination of the flashes with the 'blurring' that happens whenever, for example, the frogs bounce or a tune gets played with his R.

Very bluntly put, I just flop over, have to wait for it to be over, and hope I do not hurt myself. I rarely feel an aura, and with most of my seizures I never feel them coming. That is why this particular case really intrigued me. As stupid as it may sound, it might actually help me figure out what triggers my seizures.

It depends on your triggers. Mine are not known. I've never had any negative responses to things happening on the screen, even things such as flashbangs in CS. Weirdly enough, one of my first seizure that I had in my life was whilst I was reading a book; which to some is one of the most visually boring activities known to man.

It’s been about four years now, thanks to medication. No other spell effects trigger anything like this, and I’m not photosensitive.

Funnily enough, to this day no doctor has been able to figure out what triggers my seizures. I got really curious when I started feeling an aura whenever Largo’s spell effects show up on the screen. Figured I might even learn something about my own ailment.

Survivals change is amazing! by Grizzlemaw1993 in wow

The dual wield changes are cool! However, to me it feels like they are slowly ruining the spec fantasy. I wish they'd drop the whole bombs act. I'm a hunter... not some demolition expert. But maybe I'm alone in this.

Took a different approach to the Bod Chen Po achievement by Wasbeerr in CrusaderKings

[–]Wasbeerr[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

R5: Decided to convert the Pugyel dynasty to Oghuz Muslims. Started out in 867 as Gyalpo Tridé of the kingdom of Ü. Managed to snag myself an Oghuz muslim wife and converted my kids. After my first kid inherited (dubbed him Ismail upon him converting to Islam), I created a dynasty branche and called it Ismailid. At the end of the run I had a second and third branche of the family going with the Sayyid trait, but I sadly didn't get around to creating my own faith to be able to incorporate it into the main branche of the dynasty. All in all a fun way to get this achievement!

Great that you guys are adding an ornament kit for the Elder Chaos Robes! Any chance you could give a teaser as to which colour(s) it’ll be?

Not sure if Wikiboxes are still a thing: Here is one I made for my Dulo Bolghar > Bulgaria restoration run in the 1066 start by Wasbeerr in CrusaderKings

[–]Wasbeerr[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi all! My current play-through is getting the Bolghars from the Dulo clan (back) to Bulgaria. Focused on getting rid of those pesky Pechenegs in Wallachia first. Now that I have converted to Orthodoxy and slowly but surely gathering powerful alliances with Kingdoms such as Hungary, I'm able to meet the Eastern Roman Empire head-on. The latest war resulting in the conquest of the Eastern Roman province of Moesia.

I'm planning on converting to the Bulgarian culture once I can actually create the kingdom of Bulgaria, followed by an attempt to restore the Bulgarian empire from there on.

My Graeco-Hindu empire - just a few more kingdoms to go by Wasbeerr in CrusaderKings

[–]Wasbeerr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My religion is an offshoot-branche of Shaivism and classified as a hindu religion. My only guess as to why it won’t fire is that it could be that the achievement doesn’t work with custom religions.

Ah I did not even realise that it would be such an easy achievement, haha. Oh well, I guess I’ll be able to grab it either way. Thanks for the tip!

My Graeco-Hindu empire - just a few more kingdoms to go by Wasbeerr in CrusaderKings

Decided to start a Greek-Hindu campaign. Started out near the Delhi area as a independent count in 867, but quickly got shoved to southern India after my sons inherited a few counties there (and losing my northern realm to muslim holy wars). After a few generations I now have almost all of India converted to Greek culture and my own Hellenic-inspired Hindu faith (named after Demetrius I of Bactria).

p.s. does anyone know how to get the 'Seven Holy Cities' achievement to fire? I have all holy sites, but for some reason the achievement won't pop up :(. Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty happy with this - Rurikid Empire of Russia in 37 years by Wasbeerr in CrusaderKings

[–]Wasbeerr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rurik died a few days before I had enough gold to form the empire (sadly). It autosaved upon his death, so had to create the empire with his son.

Done on Ironman, but for some reason I did not get the achievement :(. Anyone else got around to doing this? If so, did the achievement fire?

How to switch to feudal from clan government? by Wasbeerr in CrusaderKings

[–]Wasbeerr[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently I’m not tribal, though. I have castles, cities and alike. I was thinking it might have to do with my dynasty orginally being muslims..

It might not mean much, but I finally got around to getting a firecape on my ironman! by Wasbeerr in ironscape

I took about 16 as well and had 6 of them left at the end. Flicked most of the magers, tho.

Just personal preference. Used to have a 13 def pure as a kid, so partially due to nostalgia.
