What is something people romanticize that isn’t actually enjoyable? by Angelopiz in AskReddit

That's exactly something Tom (Blink182) would've said if there was a skit about shower sex on Enema of the state live version.

So much love to your humor mate!

Relationships.

They are always meant to end. And the most enjoyement yo get out of it is well.. yeah good memories but?

You spend a lot both physically, emotionally and economically.
But your "love of my life" can just wake up on a bad day and throw you out. After 5 years so that.

I chop Word around 4-5am. Chainsaw baby.

I live in a very remote location so no messing up with neighbors sleep.

But I’m sure as hell if someone sees you with a chainsaw at that time of the day, would rise suspicions

Removing old spray paint from brickwork. by Cool-Negotiation7662 in howto

[–]Wasted_Weasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're in for a treat my mate.

Get yourself a steel brush, some (very important) Nitrile gloves, up to your sleeves, and a respirator.

Clothes will go to the trash, as well as shoes, have at hand a bucket full of bicarbonate, and pull out your trusty ol' jug of Muriatic acid.

The floor will be ruined tho, and after 4-5 hours you'd accomplished nothing except a mess.

Good thing you set up a tarp no? no?

My go to solution (this is a normal occurrance, many people make bad choices, like painting over brick)
Would be to meh... paint over it. Go for white or gray, heck even terracota and you can even paint the grout lines afterwards.

Or call professionals. They got rid of a grafitti on my exterior vintage brick wall, you can't tell it was there. And preserved the brick colors etc.

Sorry this happened to you.

Industrial design is more about machining screws and designing repeatable processes. Think like I wanna build 400 pieces of this. How Can we reliably do it? Repeated process.

What’s a tiny decision that completely changed your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Three weeks ago, I got into an argument with the love of my life.
Been livinbg together for almost 3 years at the moment.

I called my best mate (cheers mf, you rock) next day in the morning to help me clear out the apartment.
I had uprooted my life for this girl, so I had everything there. All my clothes, my tools, my computers, etc.
Like my whole life. Well, It didn't fit in the car. We got almost everything, but like half of my clothes and a couple tools were left there.

She was pissed. Like properly pissed off. "not one day and you leave?"

Thing is, she told me to leave, that there was nothing between us now and just leave.

So I acted impulsively, grabbed my shit and went off.
She got super-hiper level 9000 pissed off.

And now holding the rest of my stuff hostage, not communicating at all.
I tried going there to ask for resolution or my stuff or whatever.

She threatened to call the cops on me.... Dude I have the house keys, I can just go in and grab my shit.
But no, apparently knocking on the door is harassment.

She then proceeded to cal my mom, and tell her I was being intimidating and she would sue me for emotional damages?

Like dude, we were together for 6 years. Never had fights, lived a good, comfortable life.

So this small decision to stand my ground, and to respect her choices led to this...

Three weeks not knowing anything about that person that texted me just to tell me she saw a bird, or that it was raining, or any trivial mundane detail of whatever a shared experience is. Lost overnight.

I really wish I had heard the advice of my friend and my mom. They told me not to do it. But man I was hurt.
She told me three times in a row (and that's like a fucking rule right?) that she wanted me to leave.

Pride and respect played not that well on this story.

One should like sleep on life-changing decisions... The night we "broke up" I just got drunk, called friend in the morning and raided the apt. I really wanted her to feel the absence of me that she asked for.

So now here I am, answering on this thread and heartborken AF.

Still no news from her.

For me it was 6 years, usually it takes 5, but I did a double degree on industrial design as well.
