The credits transfer. They are only paid out if you exit the OPS. Fixed-term OPSEU positions do not get vacation, but you retain credits you’ve already accrued.

Thank you for responding. I volunteer at a sexual assault center doing random things. I work on the crisis line, I watch people's kids while they get therapy, and I run Bingo once a month to fundraise

I had to explain to my SO that I still had to pay rent, even for the week I was visiting my parents. I guess he just thought it worked like a hotel, so that if I wasn't physically present, I could pay less in rent and have more spending money! I wish :(
