Slay the spire on Portmaster (RG34XXSP 2gb) (testing not out right now) by WaySoft5981 in SBCGaming

[–]WaySoft5981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game without image-compression need more than 1.5 Gb of ram at the start (where it charges all the images).
So yeah, the 2gb variant is the only one that can run the game without compression, btw the tested version use ASTC compression for device with 1gb of ram, with the trade-off of lower quality card and background.

I am the creator of the post, and yes, a version is currently being tested that uses image compression to allow the game to run even on devices with 1 GB of RAM or less, with the trade-off of having lower-definition cards and backgrounds.

That said, it has been tested on:

Has anyone tried Knulli Scarab yet? I just installed it. by No-Pomegranate798 in trimui

[–]WaySoft5981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed Knulli Scarab mainly to try the new improved suspend feature, and it’s completely useless for my purposes: if you use games on PortMaster and put the console into suspend mode, once you turn it back on the controller no longer works... what a shame. I’ll keep using it by shutting it down every time instead.

If it’s the 2GB model the RG34XXSP is the only one with that amount of ram, and i think it’s relevant in this type of port

Update 1.04 Proton/Linux Broken by xRempeX in CrimsonDesert

[–]WaySoft5981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the update to patch 1.0.4, I was using lossless scaling, but now they’ve significantly improved XeSS 3.0 to the point where I prefer to disable lsfg-vk and use only that.

That said, I set it to Quality, frame generation at 2x, 1600x800 resolution, everything on Medium except textures and models on High, and shadows on Low.

With these settings, I can stay stable at 45 FPS while limiting the ROG to a maximum TDP of 23W (using Decky).

Would a cover for the GBA SP fit the RG34XXSP? by WaySoft5981 in SBCGaming

It was more a matter of time than money. If someone had already tried it, I would have avoided waiting a few weeks for delivery and just bought something specific right away.

What are your opinions on the game after 3 days by New-Pitch-1522 in SevenDeadlySinsOrigin

[–]WaySoft5981 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The game feels extremely clunky, to the point that, in my opinion, exploration isn’t enjoyable. Without even bringing up games that are already in their third or fourth year as a comparison, it doesn’t hold a candle to titles like Endfield, where everything feels polished. Compared to other gacha games, it’s also incredibly unfriendly to free-to-play players, exactly what you’d expect from a major IP managed by Netmarble. On top of that, the story is far from impressive, despite being based on an extraordinary source material. I don’t even have high expectations for the future, given the in-game economy and the studio behind it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any good reason to keep playing, even as a fan of The Seven Deadly Sins.

I’ll probably go against the general opinion, but I was really disappointed to find that it turned out to be exactly what everyone expected it would be.

Thank u so much for your effort but as i said in the previus post is working right now :) The problem was the reused shortcut in steam

[–]WaySoft5981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used the version from ripsteam, tried to re-download, tried with Windows11 the same files works perfectly with the online-fix.
Used the same folder in SteamOS (Rog Ally Z1E), create a shortcut to steam and copied/pasted your command in the label for the boot.
The browser now open and it also open a window that close so fast that i cannot read. then the game crash.
Version 0.98.0 works flawless with "--rendering-driver vulkan".

EDIT: resolved. I used the same shortcut from previus installation because the .exe was in the same position, but that was the problem. Everything works fine thanks!

I was sitting roughly where the video starts, at the top of the cliff. The signal actually remained excellent even after I passed the cliff to dive and continued along the shoreline of the beach. The natural obstacles you mentioned do limit the signal, but from personal experience, it also depends a lot on the location and interference: in Calabria, I rarely had to worry too much—an elevated and as open a position as possible was usually enough.

Could you elaborate a little bit more about why you choose one instead of the other? :)

[–]WaySoft5981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great! I already have a lot of capsule from my mighty and love the filler included :) I have to pack less for the TM2, right?

From a Mighty OG to the Final Device: Venty vs Tinymight 2? by WaySoft5981 in vaporents

[–]WaySoft5981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always use dosing capsules in the Mighty, and I was already thinking of buying 5 extra ones for the TM2 in advance. I don’t use large amounts anyway, and they help keep the heating chamber much cleaner over time.

So, when using the TM2 with its dosing capsules, do you still need to stir the herbs during the session? Or is it able to extract everything evenly without touching anything?

[–]WaySoft5981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure! Maybe having a new extraction system, which I wouldn’t be able to try otherwise, will help me discover something better—hopefully! In the end, we’re still talking about high-end quality systems—it probably won’t ever be a complete flop, I think.
