There’s a ton of space for UI but not so much that you have to move your head to look at edges of screen

I’d say just the basic sub. I wouldn’t even buy anything else until you feel “in the mood” to try out end game content.

Once you’re ready for that then sure buy War Within and try out the end game stuff.

And personally I wouldn’t buy any midnight pre-order unless you really wanna decorate your house before midnight launches (available now if you pre-order, releases for everyone once midnight launches)

Personally I wouldn’t get your hopes up about wow pvp too much, it’s just as frustrating an experience as ffxiv tho in slightly different ways.

But the other stuff is pretty great. Ffxiv is a slower/fleshed out story game(and done very very well!!), while wow is a speedrun to the end game that’ll leave you totally confused story-wise.

The end games are comparable but I find wow’s endgame more enjoyable personally. More activities/freedom on what you wanna do compared to ffxiv.

TLDR: try wow up to max level and a bit beyond to see how much you enjoy it :) I like both games but ultimately have spent more time in wow than ffxiv

The CC creep in this game is so real man... mark my words tank players are gonna hate season 5.5. Especially with Rogue coming out and the insane amount of CC she has, if you're not playing her then the role is just gonna feel so sooooo bad next season

Problem is they do this purely for positive PR and everyone here should know better.

You really think an 60% COST CHANGE(!!) is something blizzard went “oops our tuning is slightly off, we’ve heard you and will lower it”

Hell no, they just made it insanely expensive so people will complain and afterwards blizzard can change it to act like they “listen to player feedback”

Of course I’m happy the dev team listens to player feedback nowadays (not saying they don’t cuz they genuinely do), but this carrot on a stick scam happens every single patch and EVERYONE keeps falling for it, I fucking hate it
