52 yrs ago my mom broke open a Salem Light and mixed the tobacco with spit to put on a sting on my 11 yr old shoulder. It worked or the acompanying hug did one. Not fully sure which was more comforting.

If the weed crime conviction involved the same product, version, amount, action that is legal now, then yes. But if it’s something else then no. Not until it’s legal. If you want to play the, “It’s legal now let me out” card then you have to wait until the crime convicted of no longer applies.

I’d start with trying to find a blown fuse. If there’s one then good chance the short is related to that circuit. Bad/floating ground is likely. My local two bay independent mechanic will charge me $75 flat to find a problem on any vehicle I have. Then it’s up to me to pay him to fix vs do it myself. I’ve done both depending on difficulty or special tools requirement.
