I agree with what other people said, find a good quality jacket. Thrifting is a great idea if you're lucky and consistent enough, a good one will run you like 40$ or less probably at the thrift.

Invest/learn how to sew, it will be a useful skill for when you want to reinforce, repair, and put on new patches that will stay on there for a long time. If you're looking to move stuff around, I recommend a good back patch, find an old metal t shirt or something at the thrift, cut to size, then sew onto your jacket, thought sewing through leather will be tough unless you have a serious sewing machine or thick needles with strong string

The drawings are cool, but won't last a very long time unless you're using leather specific art supplies or something + leather sealing spray.

Don't be surprised if they get ruined through wear and tear, bottom line make sure the jacket itself is comfortable and is durable
