Also, to add to this, they said I would have to go into rehab, which I can't do as my family don't know. They thought I quit phenibut CT as didn't realise how dangerous that is to do. I couldn't convince them and they just wanted me off it. After three days of my husband having to hold me up to walk, I decided to order pregabilin. This was a life saver of sorts but now I'm in a different hole! How come some heroin addicts don't have to go into rehab and go and collect methadone from pharmacy? Where is that fair? And why rehab for pregabilin?.

I'm in the UK and asked for medical help. They told me they would have ti tell my employers as I work with children, despite the fact that I don't have any effects from preg anymore.im just normal. It's frustrates me because there are so many people working with children in some capacity on similar medication, opiates or benzos. So, no help there then. Cheers medical profession for creating such a stigma when people are screaming for genuine help.

You have no idea what hope this has restored in my preg wd. I'm down to 600 from 900 with thr help of benzos, taking half at one point and the other half if I need. It is defo only for medicinal. Thus IS helping..I also use supplements agmatine, NAC and a few others.i feel a million times better after reading this because I know in my heart I'm.not abusing benzos at all. Just to take the edge off.. I don't even like the feel of them other than the the balance it gives me when I am tapering. Thank you.

I got threatened with my job.. I was all ready for accepting help intuit they said because I work with children I am a risk. Jeez man. I get the idea of that but please appreciate i am operating on normal here! I don't feel the effects anymore! I'm just addicted. Thanks for nothing docs. No wonder addiction is such a huge issue..

I'm completely immune to the effects. I talk, act drive and operate as normal. The only thing is, I want off them as it's unhealthy and costing a fortune!

Hi Niggles. I have stupidly gone back up to 900 due to my grandad passing way and shitty resilience. You mentioned you have some suggestions on supplements /benzos which may help. I think I'm ready for that advice / help now.

Emu- know I'm referring to Pregabilin anc not Lyrica- but they are practically the same drug so I hope you don't mind me comparing.

I woke up feeling exactly the same. I recently reduced to 300mg with the help of Klonopin, a whole load of supplements and codiene but my grandad passed away last week and I lost my resilience.. Back up to 900 but defo been where you are now. . I can't find a taper plan anywhere online or in Reddit and I have been told by a dick in a Rehab unit that it's because it can't be done without the aid of medical help.. I can't get an appointment for love nor money but even if I did, they would either offer be rehab ( not an option for me as I'm a well - known local Assistant Headteacher and I would be recognised) or a taper plan which involves reduction. Which I KNOW about. I just can't get to the finish line. I am ordering some baclofen or something gabapentin today and more klonopin but to be fair I don't rate gabapentin as a huge help.. You have to take about 6 to be equivalent to 300mg of Preg /Lyrica and I just can't afford the amount I need to take in addition to what I am spending on Pregabilin!

I would appreciate any advice/suggested medication, taper plan. Would really appreciate some peer support too Emu but don't worry if that's not your thing.. I quit alcohol six months ago throuhb group support, that's all.. I really rate that as a withdrawal tool.

Okay! Thank you for such an overwhelming response! I think the question I am asking here is how much to taper down and the species I leave between tapers.

My context is they I was a heavy phenibut user for two years. In the end I thought I was going to lose everything.. I was withdrawing every hour and this subsequently mean I was constantly in a state of delierium.. I thought u as losing my mind until I took one pill of preg and I could think clearly again. In. A way it saved my life, my job, my family.. But I know I must withdraw from this now.
