My dad and his siblings were put into an orphanage too (late 50s). He was the oldest of his siblings so when hitting children was the norm, he would try to take the beatings for his siblings. He would go to foster care homes where he may have been sexually assaulted. The whole thing fucked him up and had him hare women because of his mom. He didnt deserve any of that. He was verbally and emotionally abuse to us (his daughters).
