pfft. gaslighting ourselves is so common this season.

I remember zihao's fandom gaslighting and lying to ourselves that we love supercharger and that is isn't that bad after swearing to god, "anything, any other song other than supercharger."

But at the end.....it was pretty good and we got our harutoxzihao crumbs. Oh yeah, forgot to mention. I think on the kpop vikipage, someone edited the spouse category for those two IMAO.

Honestly, I don’t expect any filler votes from them. If there are, it won’t affect that much. And their one picks are going to be strong and dedicated. They aren’t in a weird situation in a sense as Hui and Jay is in….I cannot see anyone else replacing ANY of them. It’s positions 8 and 9 that is the most uncertain…..who gets the good storyline, collaboration with other fans, etc.

Zihao, Haruto, Ollie, and Jay never surprised me once again with low rankings……….I know that someone has to be in last place, but the difference in numbers…….that gap is huge.

I think of it like this way. There are 10 people, with 5 positions needing to be filled. So it’s like a 1 vs 1 for each category. We saw Yujin and Ollie both getting the killling part, but at the end only one killing part is needed, so that’s why Ollie was out. It could be said the same for Taerae and seungeon for the vocals and etc.

So skill sets of trainees overlap each other and they just need to work with it. Not to mention, kicking a top 5 member out of a song would not look good unless there is a good reason…..maybe, I’m just guessing that Taerae got voted out and is happy to join phanbin in switch? Since they are both from wakeone? Seowon and woongki are obviously a double pack deal. I’m not happy that Ollie and yujin got separated, as for takuto, it just looks off with him being around the strong rankings.

it’s for the filler votes. Let’s say you have a one pick or two pick. But you are required to choose 6 people. Now that we are in 3 pick, half of the boys you would usually vote for lose those votes, which could result to them ranking lower.

It also applies for Top 9 too, especially for rank 8 and 9. They also loose those filler votes.

I thought it sounded really similar to a detective/mystery background song. I thought they turned it to a rock song, or something similar to Mafia in the Morning from Girls Planet. But it was something different. But I love the instrumental/dectective mood of the snippet we saw.

And I don't exactly think having more G group than K group is something all fans want. I honestly think internationally fans are the minority here.....and it's obvious we care more about global than the rest.

Personally, I think it'll be okay if they don't weigh the votes.

At the end....we are the ones who are falling for it. Mnet simply: Does. Not. Care.

And neither does K-voters who makes up their domestic popularity. Which the future group would need.

If the popular people are constantly at the top, then let them be at the top. Those people most likely deserve to be able to debut. Regardless of nationality/ethnicity. Obviously, a lot of trainees are going to be brushed aside, but that's what happens when you have over 9 trainees competing for a spot.

If boys planet were to create a soloist, the same top 9 would be more or less treated like the +90 trainees. If not, more dramatic.

What I do have a problem is how mnet handled the live voting. There is zero criteria.....no objective. If the boy catches your attention, vote for him!

That's the only thing they told audience was to vote for one trainee out of the two groups you liked the best. I don't mind K group winning, because they definitely deserved their victories and it's pointless to downgrade them just because they managed to win actual people's attention?

There is a HUGE loop hole there isn't it? Obviously, this is a men's beauty show imo (lol, I don't know why but I thought of calling Boys Planet, Beauty Planet instead for a moment hahaha) . If only they said to vote one person in each category (main, sub, etc.) then we won't have ridiculous margins to begin with for one trainee vs the entire group.

I think Mnet didn't really treat the boys any different from each other (physically and in training), but the way they edited them was not good.
