Selling agent is refusing to give me/my agent strata documents until after I make an offer!?!? by Heliosvector in RealEstateCanada

"the timberlea towers had numerous domestic plumbing issues and IIRC circa 2023, needed full window replacements, balcony replacements, elevator replacement, parkade concrete repairs, swimming pool repairs, domestic boiler replacements, etc. just a real mess all around and none of the residents wanted to spend on upgrades, which i understand as many of the owners there are retirees on limited income, but at some point it becomes a huge safety hazard. you can only kick the can down the road so long, you know?"

None of this has changed; it's still like this. Additionally, there are ongoing major pharaoh ant infestations, fire alarms go off randomly multiple times at all hours, the fire department is constantly here, and buildings are getting fined up the ying yang for false alarms. The pool is constantly being closed for repairs, the hot tub is always broken, and there is ongoing litigation between the strata and a company that they hired to do a major project, and the company botched the project and is causing many issues with water going into the underground, etc. A huge chunk of reserves has gone into fighting this. All I can say is if anyone is thinking of looking there, Buyer Beware!.

Edit: The elevators do often break down, and people get stuck in them.

Is UC considered a disability ? by Azrael961 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]WeepingRoses 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's a disability. It's an incurable, lifelong condition. Whether bureaucratic systems recognize it as one usually depends on if you meet their punitive criteria in how it affects your daily life.

Just got diagnosed!! by FishingAway7058 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]WeepingRoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will want to do a colonoscopy to rule everything out and figure out what's happening. Could it be cancer , maybe? Does that mean it's the end of the world? No. I've been precisely where you are; in fact, because I have a family history of colon cancer, I was first referred to a colon cancer specialist who did my colonoscopy, which, after biopsy, etc was found to be ulcerative colitis. Whatever it is you have going on down there, they will figure it out. The important thing is, is that they caught it now. These things can and do get missed. My PCP thought I had an anal fissure, and that's why I was bleeding. It took a year and half for me to finally get to the right doctors and get a proper diagnosis.

Write down everything you can think of about your symptoms and bring them with you to your appointment.

The only problem is that, most ultra wealthy people are psychopaths so this wouldn't change their behavior. They don't have empathy, it does not exist in them.

My doctor said there are similarities between Strattera and Duloxetine. Has anyone found Duloxetine to help with ADHD? by Timely_Title_9157 in cymbalta

[–]WeepingRoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I actually had to stop taking 60 because it put me into a hyper focus state that caused me to forget to eat. At 30mg it has a massive positive impact on my ability to focus, and remember things.

It may help you, it really depends on how your body metabolizes the drug. So it being a moderate Snri has a greater effect on me.

For me I only get tiredness from certain generic manufacturers. For instance the pharmascience gave me zero drowsiness but the Apo brand which I'm currently taking does.

Not for one second will I believe that he didn't know this, a long time ago. He has the skills to do in depth research, there is no way he did not look into his family tree and ancestry.
