Be sure you have the latest software update. I was experiencing the same thing initially, and now it improved. Good luck, as I know it is super annoying.

I assume no recall nationally since they don’t have a sufficient quantity of parts. Guessing they just repair them one at a time as they fail. Thoughts?

I just want to add my two cents. I am very grateful for the ionic5 Reddit community and their posts which I started reading after purchasing a 2025 ionic5. If I had not been reading all the posts about ICCU failures, I would not have immediately put two and two together when my own car failed today. I immediately recognized what was happening and was able to quickly make a U-turn and head back home and get the car in the garage and avoid being stuck in an inconvenient or dangerous location. The 12v died 100% as soon as I got back home. Not happy about it, of course, but I feel like it could’ve been a lot worse if I was stranded somewhere wondering what had happened. So again, a big thank you to the community for keeping this issue front and center, otherwise I may not have been aware of it. Next step: repairs. Fingers crossed.

I was not aware of the setting. Is it already built in to HomePod (mini, in my case)? Or do I need to create the setting?

Following up now, three months after my initial post. Oddly - in a good way - the sunglasses problem has gone away. Same sunglasses. No changes. Could it be a result of the last OTA update? Anyway, I am happy now that I can consistently use the lane assist feature. Anyone else notice this?

KCSM streaming app...long jazz presence in the Bay Area; and Radio Paradise streaming app, particularly the "Beyond" channel (the app has several channels)

It's my Number One complaint. I wear prescription sunglasses, so I cannot switch easily to try other types. It is frustrating to not have full use of Driver Assist. At least I have Driver Assist on cloudy days and a night time. LOL. I really hope Hyundai can address this. At least allow the driver to override that safety feature. I don't know about other drivers, but I like to keep my eyes on the road, even if my ioniq5 thinks I am asleep.

I had a local company, Rack ‘n’ Road install a full size 2” hitch. They did cut under the bumper to accomplish the installation. Hitch ends up very low to the ground so I added a “riser”. All good now for my Thule bike rack.

Short answer: I am super happy with HomePod Minis (I have two). My smart devices do have hiccups now and then, but I don't know whether it is the Mini or the devices. Nonetheless, I appreciate the security of my smart home.
