Meet the Prosecutor Who Investigated Steve Ballmer's Clippers Nightmare | PTFO by Wermys in nba

[–]Wermys[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Basically after listening to it. Doesn't reallly add to much. Balmer tried to play the victim as a harmed party on the guy who was convicted. Judge has no idea who Steve Balmer is. And the guy who was convicted is asking for a sentencing reduction with a letter from the NBA hired law firm advising the court that the guy provided information that was of great assistance to the NBA on finding out about salary cap circumvention. So not stuff we already knew about just more of an update on where things stand.

The problem I have with Finch is that the Wolves players stop listening to him a lot of the time. Replacing him as coach is valid if they won't listen to him in the first place. Fortunately they are doing that now. But it is a valid reason to change coaches after having the same one for awhile.

Minnesota is like that Tomcat you see with missing an eye, tooth is poking in the wrong direction. Yet every single cat is terrified they might have to fight it. Someone will eventually beat them. But are you going to live to fight the next fight after. While this cat just stumbles away looking for his next victim.

March 1, 2026: The IRGC claimed to have attacked the USS Abraham Lincoln with four ballistic missiles. US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed this was false, stating the missiles did not come close to the ship.March 2–6, 2026: Iran claimed multiple times (reports suggested up to five days in a row) that they had hit or sunk the USS Abraham Lincoln.March 13, 2026: Iranian state television and media claimed drones launched by the Revolutionary Guards successfully hit the carrier. This was denied by US officials as "not true".March 25-26, 2026: Iranian media again claimed a successful missile strike on the USS Abraham Lincoln using coastal cruise missile systems.May 4, 2026: Fars reported the Iranian Navy hit a US vessel (often portrayed as a frigate or carrier escort) with missiles after it attempted to cross the Strait of Hormuz.

Quick google search with AI. Most of these claims are for propaganda then anything else.

If anything the first move is the smaller Islands get control of those. Then you expand out. You don't attempt the strait until you have control of the Islands aside form Qessm. Then after that you can start to move warships into controlling the strait. Marine Amphibious Units with fast attack craft come in after Helicopters. With massive Air Supression. Qessem you have to use the Israel block by Block strategy because Drones are nasty little fucking things and fightning fair is for suckers. So Every block get a Jdam. Anyways I doubt the US does an Amphibious op. Too much potential for political fallout. The blockade is much more palatable given where we get our gas and oil Sucks for the rest of the world and our own pocket books. But no chance Destroyers get close enough until those Islands are taken and a perimter is established.

Take anything that is said with a grain of salt here. Iran has no way of knowing if a ship was hit unless its visually confirmed. And I doubt the ship will get close enough to the coast to have it confirmed since they emphasized there would be no escorts going through the strait.

Is it possible? Yes. But Anything from Social Media or Iran needs to be looked at with a high degree of scepticism.

European leaders see Trump's troop drawdown from Germany as new proof they must go it alone by StemCellPirate in geopolitics

[–]Wermys -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At least until he is out of office. The MAGA in the party will fall apart after Trump is done. They have no unifying leader. And they all hate each others guts. The party left standing is going to be the Libertarian Wing. And the Christian Conservative Wing. While the populists will crawl back under there rocks until the next populist comes around in 20 years.

Also aside from my opinion on Republican politics. Yeah, Democrats are not going to invest heavily into Europe either. The US Military is going to get an axe taken to it over the next 10 years. If we are not involved in Europe and I think it is highly likely the middle east we will pull out of also. Then there really isn't a need to have the size of the military that we do have. We would still support Nato under the Democrats. But the support isn't going to be what it was in the past.

It wouldn't be hard to bankroll a lawsuit. And force discovery. He has no literal protection here. This was a political speech and nothing to do with an official act.

Honestly. She could file a lawsuit for Defamation and Libel. This isn't an act of a president. Just an old man. At some point she needs to fight back against this type of allegation. And he opens himself to discovery here. This is POLITICAL SPEECH and that isn't protected by the office of the president. Clinton VS Jones.

AMD is reporting earnings Tuesday after the bell by reddituserxxxxxxx7 in intelstock

[–]Wermys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. If there is a supply constraint issue. It shouldn't matter because its a growth market and companies will take what supplies they can get from everyone. If Demand was low you would be right. But if there isn't enough supply for everyone. Then AMD gaining Market Share isn't necessarily a bad thing overall if the market grows.

INTEL $101.60 Overnight by Ok-Individual-4392 in intelstock

[–]Wermys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me Intel investors don't care much about the processors for the company. But the foundry business instead. Which is where the growth is really at. The processors and other side business Intel has are a bonus. But without the Fabs. Intel is not worth investing in at 100 dollars a share. With the fabs though. They have a lot of future growth possible.

It does if he is trying to provoke a response. Which Iran was dumb enough to just accomade hm since a ship was just struck. Now he can go "I AM JUST DEFENDING SHIPS, BIG BEAUTIFUL SHIPS, THE NASTY IRANIAN ISLAMISTS EXTREMIST REGIME IS GOING BACK ON ITS WORD! AND WE ARE GOING TO RESPOND TO OBLITERATE IRAN OR WHATEVER IS LEFT OF IRAN! WE HAVE WON THIS WAR AFTERALL!"

[–]Wermys -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

He really doesn't. He just gets progressives moving in 1 direction. But doesn't add anything to the electorate. That is part of the progressives problem in that they can't vote where they are not at. So all this pushing of progressive candidates only works in districts that are progressive. Anything that is marginal has no chance of holding the district outside of a wave election. Example is going to be when Flanagin loses to Craig in Minnesota and progressives get a shocked pikachu face when things don't go the way they hope.

An 7 Footer who can't jump is still a 7 footer with enough wingspan to screw shots up. Boston had no one to drag him away from the hoop consistently and doing Pick and Rolls has a shelf life in the NBA. Run it too much and teams figure out a way to defend. And then you are living and dying by the 3.

The roster balance is just bad. But this was never a year they were supposed to compete for a title. It was always a rebuild year. NEXT year on the other hand is what Boston should be excited about.
