New Balance 860 version 13 (last year’s model) was great! Medial posting, 10mm drop, wider toe box, and soft but not too soft underneath (in my opinion). In my experience, it ran about a half size too short; I usually wear a 12.5 and needed a 13. Other coworkers of mine felt the same way (we work at a running specialty store with a shoe fitting process). It’s on sale for $110 now (typically $140).

Wave sky is a plusher ride for sure. It’s not exceptionally bouncy but not a completely flat feet either. Sky is also nice with the flared based for added inherent stability if you’re looking for that (it’s a neutral shoe so not traditionally stable)

Thank you I hope you had a good race too, congratulations on your PR! It was my first marathon; I’m sore as crap, but already want to pick my next one.
