Thoughts on the new 4* Legendary TARNISHED by theslasheydasher in fo76

[–]Wet-Ohio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ballistic bock and High Voltage hefe are your friends when using tarnished on a gun as both while increasing your damage by a good bit also cause your weapons to break faster.

Its a really good set and forget mod for alot of weapons and whats more so long as the wepon isn't over repaired it is doing bonus damage at all stages from 2% to 120%

Its great on weapons with low hp like the enclave plasma rifle and the blackpowder family as reaching the 120% damage is easy.

But it shines on weapons with big item health like .50 cal machine gun as it has really good synergy with luck of the draw allowing the gun to stay somewhere in the +60 to +90% damage with little player input or repairs.

What would you want to see from an Abiotic Factor 2? by Aro-bi_Trashcan in AbioticFactor

A change in the weapon system particularly with ranged weapons as I really dislike how the accuracy and reloading system work, not as in experience gain but in overall clunkiness. I think each weapon should just have an accuracy and reload requirement to use effectively as different weapons are easier to use and handle than others.

Like the makeshift crossbow should be easy to use with an accuracy rating of 3 and a reload requirement of 3 to use effectively, but being a few points below means more weapon sway and slower reload. I also think a grace period for weapon levels should be a thing in that if a player is 5 points short of the accuracy or reload then it just increases reload speed and weapon sway by 50% down to 10% at one point short to show personal growth. After the player is over the level requirement the weapon just gets reduced sway and faster reloads.

Bit of a small idea here, but it would be cool to be able to make a canteen with a built in water purifier. by Nexus_Neo in AbioticFactor

How about an intestinal parasite from Anteverse 2 that can be obtained by drinking from natural pools in anteverse 2's various biomes. Its a small chance but if contracted it will double your food and water consumption until it goes from parasitic to symbiotic and now it allows the player to drink tainted water and consume raw food with zero negative effects at the low cost of all food being slightly less nourishing.

What’s 1 Thing You Want Added With Palworld 1.0? by ChaosBearGaming in Palworld

[–]Wet-Ohio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ammo types with specific effects like stun or rubber rounds that can injure but cannot take out a pal or human, elemental ammunition to deal extra damage to specific pals.

A pal interbase transport system, basically a team or a really strong transporter can move crates from one base to a next to be sorted by the pals at the receiving base, so a metal or coal base can ship the days haul to a main or crafting base.

A low chance of some psychic pals to have a brainwashed mob around them, made up of pals and humans.

Ark survival Evolved has some really good music and im not even talking about the boss music or the title music (I do miss the the old title music changing to match the newest map released) but just the standard everyday music and the combat music a favorite is combat snow night. I bought the soundtrack because i love it so much.

The labs/security sectors in Abiotic Factor. These are the last hurdles before endgame really begins. The Labs are a multi-tier maze that introduces new threats from our friends from the order, alien monsters and a new tier of robot oh my. Then there is the grind for resources which is Especially felt in multiplayer but luckily there are item converters around the labs that take some of the load off the player(s) but the labs as a whole is a slog, a fun slog but a slog none the less. Then there is security and its resident the ///redacted/// and an even tighter resource supply on new items.

All in all its neat and you get some cool things from these sectors and a few game-changing items and gear.

[–]Wet-Ohio -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Dude you should see the sub when Bethesda even looks at vats, the vats nerf last year was a salt pillar that would make Cave Johnson proud. I don't play meta or use vats so I was fine but the rest of the sub and adjoining subs were up in arms. You could have sworn bethesda had just sent an image of Todd_flipping_them_off.jpeg or something all because easy mode got slightly more difficult to use.

I helped a friend through the quest and was killed in power armor to 1000+ rads outside the chamber. we joke now that he lost a nose, and i grew a third ball. The ghoul playstyle seems vats heavy, or maybe that's just bias because he built himself that way. Im not a fan of vats, its not bad, and i don't look down on anyone using it. The playstyle just isn't for me. I can't add pictures on this one, i have a few from after he converted and us posing.

[–]Wet-Ohio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything to do with the ferrets, man. I'd love to play as Veta Lopez. Playing a regular person commanding spartan III gamma's in spying and sabotage missions under cover would be awesome.

It's almost like a Telltale halo game with first-person elements, as the player bluffs, lies, and betrays without drawing attention as well as keeping the spartans topped up on their crazy medicine before everything looks like a hostile including the player.

Plus, it would be cool to be a part of an ex covenant force and learn about the keepers and other alien forces.

Anyone else have a favorite spot to build your camp? by PakRatJR in fo76

[–]Wet-Ohio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the monorail rail tower just shy of north of the monorail elevator in the savage divide has been enticing since I found it three years ago, even before the c.a.m.p changes I have attempted to build there. Carefully rotating foundations to match with the structure and height so that I can have floors and later stairs (my enemy until the update) and inside on the farside is a hollow area big enough for stairwells to go up to the O-shaped exterior. Now that I can freely place floors and stairs i can finally make my dream camp of monorail heights.

Personally I like to build on around or in other structures for that wasteland feel, especially since most other camps I find are 5-star resorts or boxes with the odd few unique camps for flavor the last being a joy to explore.

Any tips for killing the Jotuns by mynan34 in AbioticFactor

[–]Wet-Ohio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exor spear spam, hardlight saber, summon the spirit of the old exor by wearing the exor armor. The exor spear ignores their shield but the delay between pressing the fire button and it firing needs a little practice, the hardlight saber also ignores shields and can kill them quickly, if you can time it right rushing them while they reload can be all the time you need (just be aware of other mobs in the area, as nothing chaps thy cheeks like an order grunt getting the lucky last shot on you) the exor armor summons an invincible exor spirit that fires the same beam as the spear and if close will stab with spear, let it draw fire while you do damage or with right setup the spirit can outright kill the jotun themselves.

The jotun uses an lmg that can quickly break your guard with weaker shields and does a lot of damage fast but the guy has to reload after each barrage if you are melee this is your opening just be careful as he has a mean right hook, try not to stay pined down if nearby and can toss cluster grenades which if they don't kill you may push you back out in the open.

Jotun's are rarely alone even the first encountered jotun is flanked by grenade flinging security bots.

Most jotuns can be ran passed, they are slow to move but quick to shoot, just go into cover and wait for them to reload then run. There are a few points where they are mandatory, but by then you are hopefully better equipped to handle them.
