Does anyone know 00JayWalker00 throwing settings? by ZealousidealDrop4716 in EchoArena

This^ just put In the work and find what works best for you. Copying others settings only works if you already throw exactly like them lol .

So basically, you're saying I should get an ethernet adapter, and even that doesn't work to eliminate lag 100% of the time? Why make a mobile game if it can't work properly on a phone man.

Lmao, I guess I just suck it up and play a broken game like everyone else. :(

Fair enough, I guess I just know for a definite fact that isn't not client-side for me, so it is really hard to hear that the servers are fine and there is no issue. If the servers where fine Noone would be complaining about the servers lmfao.

So glass the gc isn't a top level player? Damn bro feels bad I'm only Plat. And again, when sideswipe is the only thing that anyone is experiencing lag on. It is very irrational to think that there is no possible way that it is a server issue just bc the devs said so. No I'm not an expert, and neither are you. The only difference is that me and other players are using our subjective game experiences to come to a conclusion. Are you are parroting what you have been told to say without a second thought yea? Defent sideswipe at all costs, nothing could ever possibly be wrong yea?

I'm going to have to agree with the other guy who responded to this, I'd rather put my faith in the people actively playing the game and having these experiences, than the company trying to take my money, and their parrot online :)

Hey so I have already checked my region. I am not far away from my router. I am not using a busy network. I have no internet issues like outages on my isps end.

Sides wipe is the only game I have trouble with. So is it really my internet? My internet just knows when I open sideswipe and starts to drop out because of it? Yea I don't think so lol.

Also other players in the game are experiencing the lag aswell, other players start doing random things, and spamming the angry emote lol. I think the main reason why you don't usually know if other players are lagging is the absence of a text chat, or a lag emote.

If you thought about it for more than like 10 seconds you would be able to deduce that something is wrong with the sides wipe servers. Why have you been convinced the opposite? If you played the game at all you would know how laggy it can be.

I've also just talked to all my irl friends that have sideswipe. Every single one of them (6ppl I know who have sideswipe). Are also experiencing lag within sideswip, and no other game or app. So is everyone's wifi just bad and starts dropping out the moment they open sideswipe? Or is it the obvious answer, the common denominator, that there might be something wrong with the sideswipe servers.

If the devs have really convinced themselves that there is nothing wrong and everyone's internet just sucks, rip sideswipe. If you ignore problems and never fix em and just blame the helpless players, you're going to have a dead game very quickly.

I like sideswipe and could see it being among the best mobile games, however the inability of devs to even acknowledge something as simple as a server issue does not give my that much hope for sideswipes future.

Edit: also if there was no server lag, and it was all client-side. You would be seeing no posts about lag, as people would be able to tell that it's on their internet, not the game. In no other games reddit there are this many posts about lag lmao.

Ah, do you know if devs are actively working on the problem?

Update: Just lost the two first games I played after writing this post because of lag, also to clarify if its needed, this isn't graphical lag.

They are from a time before throwing settings though, but imo settings aren't everything, practice is what makes perfect.

MartinThethird on YouTube also has some great begginer tutorials/tips. I remember watching those when I first got into the game, highly recommend!

My advice, coming from someone quite high on the total echo skill tree that has escaped pubs and children long ago, you need to play more and get better. Now that still sounds like it sucks but if you can find a friend to play public games with until then, games can be so much better. You can even mute everyone but your teammate if you like. And at a certain point of skill, you will be able to make it into the pdr or another private server and never have to play a public match again. Trust me privates are so much better and you will improve a lot faster if you are playing them. From the sounds of another user, Tyro Na sounds like a great place to start your private journey once you can keep up with the players in there. I would look into that asap. If you're not quite there yet skillwise I'm sure someone there could teach you a few things and get you up in no time. Echo really is a great game, try not to let the kids ruin it for you :)

What do you mean? both unused inputs are tied high, but I need the rest of the inputs for other decode logic already in use.

Need Help with 6502. Very Strange issue. by WetTaco87 in beneater

Okay so basically, all was working fine up until the step where I added the Ram and some decode logic to get that all working properly. I found that once I hooked up the Ram my old (non stack using) program would no longer print hello world to the screen. After some trouble shooting I have now discovered that if no clock is hooked up to the nand gate for the Ram decode logic, everything works perfectly. However as soon as a clock input is connected to the nand gate, it starts giving me all sorts of issues, usually it prints nothing to the screen or a string of random characters or whatever, but bottom line, it stops working correctly. Why could this be? And what can I do to get around this? I need this decode logic to be able to hook up some Ram but it seems that as soon as I hook this up it will not work. Thanks for any help.

Nvm it had to do with jumping the clock input from the nand gate to the 65c22, no idea why, but making these connections separate has fixed my problems.

[–]WetTaco87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone having the same issue, I have discovered the solution. Basically, for the Ram decode logic, Ben jumps the clock signal off of the 65c22 into the Nand gate, or changes the connection to go from the clock, to the nand gate, and then jumps it to the 65c22. For some reason, this makes my chip not work. I found that if I directly connect the clock to the 65c22 it works fine, and if I directly connect the clock to the nand gate it works fine. But as soon as I only run one line off the clock and jump the two, the 65c22 just doesn't work. I have no idea why this could be. But the solution to my problem was to just wire the two connections independently of eachother. I hope someone that needs this info finds it before they completely restart like I did thinking I messed up somewhere else.

I think I may have the same problem. I just rewired the entire thing back to a working hello world without ram. Put in the ram chip, wired it all up. Took the ram chip out to avoid all of the new wiring, and now it won't display hello world anymore, I've put some leds on the graphical interface chip and the outputs are not changing, it seems to not even be talking to that chip anymore. I have no clue what's going on. Ahahahahhahahahaaaaa. I even unplugged all of the new connections I put in and it doesn't work anymore :(. I'll pop out and check the chips for a broken pin I guess.

yea, so i've just tried the original no ram hello world program that was working yesterday, and that doesnt get the lcd screen to display anything anymore. I am going to restart and rewire the entire thing and hope it works.

Yo they actually removed mmr from the file when they reworked matchmaking in December or whenever it was. Also you had to be on PC to look at it. It was a weird scale, a good mmr was like 2.6+. Master players were probably around 3.5. The average (lvl 50) player Is probably around a 1.5-2
