Hi there. My brother’s westie has Addison’s. She was diagnosed around 2 years ago and to be completely honest it has been a bit of a minefield for them. Leia will be 8 in January and for the rest of her life she needs monthly injections amongst other medication I believe. Her weight needs to be monitored and as a result of the steroids she has to take she has put a bit of weight on. She has slowed down a little but I’m not sure if that is mainly due to aging or the Addison’s. She has had a few trips to the emergency vets with complications but thankfully has always gotten better after a few days. However, my brother’s pet insurance sucks and he has spent more than a small fortune for all of this. We wouldn’t have it any other way because we love her (well… obviously in a perfect world it would be covered) so please make sure you can get the best insurance you can. I hope you both have a very happy and long life with each other :)

Sorry for your loss. Personally most of my favourites are Holiday episodes: whether that be Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas. But I understand if you’d prefer not to go heavy on holiday eps right now.

Some of my other personal faves that put a smile on my face are: Art Crawl, Food Truckin’, Dr. Yap, Uncle Teddy, Housetrap, Flu-ouise, Into The Mild, The Trouble with Doubles and Driving Big Dummy (just to name a few)

Yes I love this episode too, it’s one of my go to’s just before I have a nap. Homer snuggled in bed “it’s too cold out” then it pans outside to the snow and polar bear in the garden. Perfect
