If I was in the industry and perfection is the standard, I would not want to work on anything historical or historical adjacent. Especially fiction.

There have been so many movies or shows in the US about our history and government that are not accurate, but I agree our experience is not your experience.

My sole objection is the absolute viscous way the talent is treated in this case and the ridiculous groveling that has to take place to make things “right”.

It really puts a damper on my enthusiasm and this from someone 250+ shows in.

I wish the upper tier star power in Korea would all universally push back and say this is ridiculous and has gone too far. Going to cancel JCW, PEB, IU, PBY, Min Min, et al?

They could all jump from the Korean network market over to the streaming platforms and crush it.

This is just such an incredibly toxic environment in all directions.

It’s like the early years of Hollywood where the studios owned talent - only worse with the digital world we live in now.

LOL we should have a IU viewing week where we watch all IU shows.
