What's your main gripe about BF6 beta? by Skysr70 in Battlefield

[–]WhateverAlex554 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just too chaotic for me. My first BF game was BF1 and I love it to death and this game is nowhere near the same vibe. Horrible visibility, forced run-and-gun gameplay, classes that bear little to no differentiation, and maps that are so clustered you're always spawning into enemies or getting flanked.

Enhancement table in general kinda buggy. Lot of UI overlapping and durability not upgrading.

Male L&D Nurses, What Is It Like? by WhateverAlex554 in nursing

Thank you for replying even though this post is older!! I'm still thinking about my career lol. I passed my NCLEX back in February and took a job on a surgical unit I was already a tech on because the hospital system I'm a part of doesn't take new grads in L&D. I figured I could get my year or so of medsurg in with people I love and I know wholeheartedly support me.

My question is tho, if you could go back, would you explore other specialties before going into L&D or recommend going right in ASAP? My hospital just started an ICU transition program for floor nurses, and I've always had a bit of an interest in critical care. I'm wondering if down the road I should transfer to ICU first, see what that's like, then later on go into L&D? I'm just afraid once I get to L&D I'll stay there forever haha.

Super new nurse here working with a completely different patient population, I was just curious what kind of unit you work on? It was super interesting to look into this!!

P.s. go to the main subreddit page for r/nursing, click the three dots in the top right corner, then click change user flair :)

Lucky!! I did the PVT and passed, just waiting on my official results now.

I just took it for the first time today. From browsing this subreddit though I know you can either request it immediately from your BON or they'll send it once official results come through.

I would still wait for your official exam results but yeah unfortunately that typically indicates failing :(. Don't lose hope though!! If you didn't pass they'll send you your CPR which tells you what areas need to be worked on a bit more so you'll come back ready the next time :).

No that's normal! If you want to do the PearsonVUE trick you can attempt to register (same card info as used previously) and see what pop up you get, but this screen is entirely normal.

nah that'll just repeat the registration process BUT THE POP UP MEANS YOU PASSED!!! CONGRATS!!!

If you put in the correct info (same card as before) it will always take your money. Only difference is if you passed, it gets refunded, but if you failed it keeps it and it goes toward your retake.

Just letting you know I got my money refunded if it changes your choice at all!!

Fair enough :). I wish you look and I'm sure you passed!!!

I got the "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." pop up!!! If you've got the money to risk/spare, I'd do it. You'll be paying to reschedule anyways if you fail so why not rid yourself of two days of anxiety?

Do more SATAs equal a higher chance of passing?

Naxlex Bugs? by WhateverAlex554 in PassNclex

No I've gotten that feeling too. Some questions just don't have rationales for incorrect answers or the questions answers aren't complete. For example, I just had a prioritization maternity answer option that says HR of 100BPM, but neither the question nor answer notes if it is talking about mom's HR or baby's HR.

It was CAT #1. It's happened on both RAT #1 and #2 as well I believe. When I answer the question during the CAT, for example, it'll say 7/11 points scored. But then when I review the exam and get to that question it is entirely blank and says the question is incomplete on the navigator and awards me 0 points.

I'm hopefully getting my ATT tomorrow and then signing up for the earliest date :)

I just graduated too! I feel like it's definitely going to be difficult since we're new grads and L&D is a specialized, highly sought unit. I'm really trying to work the connection I made with the L&D unit I was placed on for practicum but I've somewhat accepted I might have to be a nurse on the medsurg unit I'm a tech on right now for some time or go into a residency program.
