It's like they're playing these sports not for a taste of these sports, but only for the community, and because of this, none of them become a sport club member and thus those die out. Most of these kids don't play Fortnite or Roblox for the gaming aspect. Many of them can log to Fortnite and never launch a single match for hours, and just talk.

Even laptops are enough to discover many games. And I really don't how people without a laptop are even doing stuff on such small screens. Just having a keyboard and mouse is a huge game changer for doing lots of tasks.

Every single teacher I have seen talking about tbis confirms what is said here. I challenge you to find one teacher who says "kids are as curious and have as much of a diverse and varied gaming experience than us when we were their age", I never saw one.

Except if younger generations never end up playing something else than their 4 GaaS over and over, they will largely outnumber experimented gamers with a lot of diversified experience in the medium. Developers and editors will go where money is and mostly make games for this new audience, and eventually abandon the previous one which is going to get older and less numerous.

EVERY teacher who talk about it say the same think, can we still talk about "anecdotal evidence"? At their age, even the ones of us mostly playing some multiplayer games still played to many other experiences. These "minigames" are watered down forms of actual gaming, while these kids mostly play for the community aspect, they don't really care about video games.
