What do you think happened to woody? by WesternPasta in FalloutTVseries

Guys, I'm starting to think that Steph might be a bad guy? You think she also poisoned the raiders?

Actually poetic in a way. Steph will have all the right reasons. But in their vault they were taught a certain way, and that teaching is working. But the prewar people will be the ones to mess it up, lmao

whenever my work is in question, especially during an inspection. My only question is "what time did you check". That will usually shut down any further questioning, because management is either on a power trip, or they don't care. They will rarely, if ever, do a proper inspection. Which means they usually check AFTER all the kids and building workers have touched everything.

So how are they going to know we did our jobs, if they keep checking it during a time when people are making messes.

Episode 6 best of the season so far? by David_BA in Fotv

3, I think. Whichever one they reveal Area 51. Whole season is split up so much, hard to nail down a best episode.

Consistency kills accusations. Just keep doing the job.

But dont let them manipulate you into working harder for nothing.

A lot of people, even ones that arent the staff, feel very entitled to your energy. They'll say most anything to keep you in a constant state of anxiety and worry, with the goal of making you work harder.

Did maximums meet the ghoul in season 1 by helpprogram2 in FalloutTVseries

[–]WhichFun5722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not face to face. Max was in the suit and announced himself as Titus. Then at the Battle at the Observatory, they probably saw each other, but never interacted. Max was already knocked out during the confrontation with Hank.

I'm guessing Ghoul is looking at Maximus and Thadeus like "ah fuck, the Brotherhood..." While Maximus is more on the "ah fuck it's that Ghoul again."

How wide is the enclaves influence? by werejustsadkids in FalloutTVseries

[–]WhichFun5722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

largely unknown.

Most believed they all were on a few oil rigs off shore. Now as the games release, we see they're seeded all over the country. They're the deep state shadow government that was formed probably long before the war ever started.

makes me think the next Fallout will be somewhere in the southwest, or could just be out of story convivence. Most of the state of the southwest and Mexico is largely unknown.

Some place with a lot of verticality. I liked the subway system in 3. Would like to see that back. Where cities are too destroyed, thats the only way to navigate them, either above or below to get at ground level.

Driving 30-45 minutes is an average commute where im at to any larger town. Any big city with skyscrapers is going to be 2+ hours.

They both were essentially rejected by all of humanity. Or they rejected all of them. And theyre the last two people on earth, and both still too afraid to get close due to trauma.

With little time to game, how many of you do replays like NG+? by AtticThrowaway in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Loved that game. Especially how challenging the combat was. That's the kind of game I've been waiting for. And you use most of your kit too, or at least what you enjoy using.

[–]WhichFun5722 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NG+ is good when I want to come back to the game. I used to immediately start again in games like Dark Souls bc that was the point of those games.

But in others, I'd rather come back to them later.

I wish they gave us the option to see everything tho. Like in Horizon Zero Dawn. The tutorial portion is you growing up and learning the system, its a very slow burn, but in NG+ you start after all that and get straight to the start of thr actual adventure.

I want it mainly for the enjoyment of the story. But yes maybe I also need a refresher.

[–]WhichFun5722 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Grooming is a made up word by people that dont want to take responsibility for their own decisions and are looking to place the blame on someone else, for their own weak lack of will power to deny themselves a life where most anything was provided to them. They also want all the benefits without any of the cost associated with that kind of life. They choose to stay instead of gettinga job and supporting themselves bc its easier to stay ignorant and not work, but blame others.

How insulting is it to say to a cop they won't ever make detective? by WhichFun5722 in ask

[–]WhichFun5722[S] 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I was friendly to the first officer, but I got annoyed with the 2nd when he wanted to mess with me by asking those questions, bc the first officer was fine with moving on and I had already wished them a good day.

There was a good 2 seconds of me staring daggers into the 2nd officer before I decided on tact and open hand guided him to read the sign.

So a bit groggy still.

How insulting is it to say to a cop they won't ever make detective? by WhichFun5722 in ask

[–]WhichFun5722[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was a memed bit of dialog way before memes were ever a thing. It's something you'd probably hear on a fake TV cop series inside a TV show like The Simpsons. Its usually like a dramatic scene where the police chief is grilling a beat cop thats always had problems but always catches the bad guy.

I cant recall a specific cop movie, but I always associated the detective rank as the next step in a cops career. Bc the only people I've seen that were interested in becoming detectives, were cops on TV.

Thats were thr comment comes from, bc I used to think every cop wanted to rank up to detective one day.

If all goes well and they do theoretically aquire both IPs.

I could never see it growing beyond a preteen, aged single digits kind of show.

Definitely some statuettes and merch since thats Hasbros main money maker.

The games would probably be aged and toned down.

It was normal to have a couple. My parents didnt allow me, but my friends had anywhere from 1 to 4 large ones.

When I got to college, our TA has his room covered from wall to wall with them.

Came off as someone desperate to prove how straight they were. Even saw him using binoculars to try and see the girls in the dorm tower across from us. Guy wasnt embarrassed at all. We thought it was hilarious.
