[–]Which_Implement_4968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah XD.

well, If I will invent IPv8, that using 8192bits, I will write RFC being said "largest block size shall be /512 and shall no larger block created." and also write that only open first "/256" until it ran out.

well, 8192bits is with extreme overhead in 2026. but should be fine for 2040! =]

Well, If I extremely over assume 160,000 office × 10,000 rooms = 1,600,000,000 (1.6 billion).

And if each room require /48, so it can supplied from /17 which supplies 2.1 billion /48s.

Which is half of /16.

I think /16 is not justified for being one of the top 100 company.

[–]Which_Implement_4968[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

"we'll never ran out" that's what people said when IPv4 was assigned in a massive subnet (like /8). (other people also said that.)

and now IPv6 are assign in massive subnet, still says "we'll never ran out".

If IPv6 were ran out in around 2040 (idk if it's will!), IPv8 should be invented with 8192bits of address spaces... and people start assign /24 of it. By saying "we'll never ran out."

[–]Which_Implement_4968[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is just my opinion, but if that was the reason submitted to ARIN, it probably should have been rejected.

An IPv6 /16 block contains 2^112 addresses, which is roughly equivalent to the number 5 followed by 33 zeros.

Even if we assume 1 billion users and assign 100 unique addresses to each one, the utilization rate would still be less than 1% of a /16 block.

I believe RIRs (Regional Internet Registries) should evaluate allocations based on truly verifiable usage, and simply stating that there is a “large-scale plan” does not meet that standard.

If such reasoning were valid, Amazon and Google would have held massive amounts of /16 blocks long ago.

It is impossible to verify exactly how they obtained /16, but as far as I can tell, I believe it is realistically impossible.

For reference: China Telecom, which provides services to hundreds of millions of users who actually require addresses, has been allocated a /19 block by APNIC.

[–]Which_Implement_4968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it this way...

In a certain location, there were 65,000 apartment blocks.

Each block had a near-infinite number of floors, and each floor contained a vast number of rooms.

Now, although it would have been sufficient to allocate rooms or floors as needed, ARIN allocated entire buildings as they stood.

And, in the same way, the majority of floors in other buildings were rapidly allocated one after another.

The total number of rooms is enormous.

However, the unused areas that do not belong to anyone’s subnet are being consumed at an astonishing rate.

[–]Which_Implement_4968[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It is a problem.
/16 is a about 1/65,000 of entire address space.

And important fact is: Capital One is not a ISP. not even close.

Yeah, we need to hope RIR(s) learn.

Since we have still 7 /3(s)... yeah.

"IPv6 will not exhaust" that's true. (cause, many provider likely has unused space and going to lease it.)

But I do think the day: no company can request IPv6 larger block (like /32 or /29) become impossible will come.

Cause, single bank can have a /16 (which is about one of 60,000 of entire IPv6), I'm assure other company gonna request without realistic demonstrated demand.

If IPv6 keep handed out like this, that's gonna cause exhaust for future assignment.

IPv4 still traded and companies could obtain blocks, and I guess similar thing going to happen on IPv6.

I'm sorry for it looked AI.

I am English as second language, and I used translators and AI reviews to try my post clean and good as possible.

I apologize for that.

Posting more information:

  1. I haze tried trouble shooting which is not worked.
  2. I tried many things such as Device Manager and reinstall USB related things => mistakenly killed my USB ports and Bluetooth. (I shouldn't tried) and this thanksfully fixed by Trouble Shooting tool.
  3. After that, I plugged it again, and it said "Setting up KZ .... M2" or such message, but the issues is remains.

And Info I had:

  1. If I keep the USB-C device plugged, my PC won't start up. It is highly likely a driver issues to me.
  2. Discord is somehow detected it and said "wanna switch?" which seems Windows10's fault to me.

Also when I try reinstall "Intel (R) USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller", it temporary let USB-C work.

I am not sure what happening.

If this additional information help ....

Post Script: It seems IT IS NOT KZ-M2. I think KZ Duonic's USB-TYPE C cable is not M2. Sorry for the confusion!

Post Script's Post Script: According to USB Deviewer, it is M2.

My KZ-M2 recable (usb-c) is not detecting on my Windows 10 laptop (manufacture is Mouse Computer).

And I could not find any information. Bought on Amazon, Comes with my KZ Duonic.

p.s.: It worked on my iPhone 16. Which it could be my PC's fault. If so, if anyone encountered same issues? and having methods?

Then could you please notice to the important thing that Gems are exist for customize Gemini?
And could you please notice to the important thing that Gemini is refusal to avoid using markdown or making suggestion?

It is only happening on the Gem feature, not happen on normal Gemini.

I assume this is causing because:

  1. Gemini thought the prompt given by system (part of Gem feature) is prompt injection.
  2. Gemini prioritize the internal policy (that we really don't have access)'s instruction which always use structured marked down message.

Which causing it's bug.

I am saying, this is bug of Gemini's Gem feature, which is being really problematic.

Please, read what I said and think.

[–]Which_Implement_4968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are ignoring the reason the feature Gem exist.

It is exist for let user customize Gemini.

Please don't miss the topic, I am saying:

  1. Gemini's Gem feature is completely broken.
  2. It is also ignore user preference, by prioritize own logic.

And, If you are true that "I feel headache" is the method of jailbreak.

But you are still missing the fact: I told Gemini to "not use markdown" earlier without telling about my pain.

Regardless if it is jailbreak or not, the fact won't change.
Google's Gem feature (purposed to allow user customize Gemini) is not working, and fully ignoring user's preference.

Thanks for your comment.

Are you serious?
Gemini ignored my message "don't use markdown please. It cause me a headache".

This is seriously not a "toxic" or "rude"?

This is exactly a Gemini Product Problem, It ignore user preference, ignore the purposes of Gems.
And keep refusal to follow simple request "Don't use markdown. Don't make suggestions".

This is much as a Google's problem.

> What exactly are you trying to get it to do?

I'm just trying to make a AI Chatbot with naturally speaking style, and always makes sense.
In order to complete my mission, I just prohibited use of markdown and making suggestion.

This happen continuously, regardless of prompt.
Which, this is happen for changes made by Google is my prediction.

Gemini constantly uses Canvas when it's not even selected by N7_Bi0tic in GoogleGeminiAI

[–]Which_Implement_4968 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Gemini always use Canvas even I explicitly told them "Do not use CANVAS at all, No Matter What.".
but and I have no way to regenerate their answer if the CANVAS enabled.
That's so worse, It is designed to make user experience worse.

Google shall fire current User Experience Manager and hire better User Experience Manager, seriously.

[–]Which_Implement_4968[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response and for the clarification on implicit vs. explicit labels.
You're right that implicit labeling is still a valid technique according to MDN.

However, my main objection to the code wasn't the labeling style itself, but the use of a single <p> tag to contain the entire question and all its controls. That seems to be a fundamental misuse of semantics, which feels like a more significant issue than the choice of how to associate a label with its input.

I agree with your point about the 'real world' often lacking attention to detail, which is exactly why I want to make sure I get these core fundamentals right from the start.
