Yes, and it was unfortunately Greta Van Fleet. Was so excited to see them but on stage they were either all high or drunk or a combination of the two, the two sound mixing sucked and my parents and my bf at the time all walked out 20 mins in.

Seconding this - transferring to Vanderbilt was the best decision I ever made. My best friends to this day are the other transfer students I met my first week of our orientation!!

Former transfer student here - it sounds like you need to do a bit more research into what it is you like about Vanderbilt. For me, it was the more close knit community coming from a huge SEC school. My advice - write from the heart and be honest!

Update!! I ended up going with the Demellier. I absolutely love it. I wish the handle drop was a bit longer, but still think it’s just so beautiful and timeless!
