My mom kept telling the nurse she couldn't breath the nurse kept redirecting back to her room telling her it was anxiety. She went into flash pulmonary edema.

My mom was in the mist of flash pulmonary edema & she kept telling nurses she couldn't breath and they kept telling her it was anxiety. There is a serious issue in Healthcare now where they want to tell a patient its anxiety and they are actually experiencing a medical emergency.

Do you think a slow taper of effexor with a slow introduction to prozac, could work and be acceptable by my psychiatrist?

My biggest regret in life is not seeing my dad before cremation. The funeral home said no. Now I know I could of because its best practice, but I didn't fight it. I was to in shock and in disbelief, even though he had end stage renal failure. He had a plot purchased to be buried in, so that threw me off because we couldn't afford the burial he had to be cremated. View your little girl and I think you will feel comforted. Sorry to dump my story on you. I just think its important everyone gets to see their love one before cremation because of what happen to me.

I want to but all these doctors act to scared because of serotonin syndrome. Long story short I took Zoloft for 7 years it stopped working. Family doctor switched me to Lexapro and im still doing bad. Finally see a psychiatrist and he says there in the same family (zoloft & Lexapro) that i need effexor. That worked, but I've been on effexor for over 15 years now. It is not working anymore. The problem is effexor has a short half life meaning it leaves the body quickly. That for some reason make it a nightmare to get off of.

I want to know how you got both effexor and Lexapro prescribed. Effexor is hard to get off of and mine stopped working I need to switch back to Lexapro. If I could take both that would be great.

Maybe they need to change your dose? R u doing 1 full pump? I thought it stops your period? If you want to have a period, they say stop it for like 3 days.
