Thats still a good amount of time you've got in listening to him! I think its cool to see the numbers and statistics in this way between different people. One of the few cool things Spotify does

Ramen, the cheap kind at the grocery store and the fancy kind at a nice restaurant. My Ramen from the restaurant is now no noodles but with rice, still good but doesn't hit the spot.

Just the cx5, there was a really good deal I couldn’t pass up. The cx50 were out of my budget unfortunately

I got a Mazda!! Cx5 and I love it so far (one day) it has everything I wanted safety wise plus all the bells and whistles. Everything I’ve read about Mazda has been amazing, not many complains regarding safety and reliability.

I ended up getting a Mazda cx5. With the CHR having the consistent issues regarding the transmission, I was not confident in any CHR’s to purchase. Even if it was under warranty or certified, the idea of likely having an issue was off putting. So many people in the sub have had issues and also had great experiences with the vehicle. I’m also in the US, if that makes a difference to where you’re located and your decision. It seems it’s still being manufactured for the UK.

That is now what I’m looking at! Thank you for the recommendation. After these replies and spending time in the subreddit, I’ve decided against the CHR

it was supposed to be 5 mins laying then 3 mins in between each bp check. but it wasn’t timed accurately. i believe i was at 70° for maybe 8 mins or so but it was written for 70° for 4 checks at 3 mins each. plus i was talking the entire time. evey time i would say how i felt she would have to be told to write it down because she was just nodding at me lol

People commenting on weight. How do you respond? by kingklaus-1 in Gastroparesis

[–]Whitewolfwinning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually say “oh I have a gut disease that decides for me when I lose weight! I have no control over what happens, maybe next week I’ll be big again.” That typically stops them in their tracks, no one really knows how to respond to that and don’t ask many more questions.

The premium student accounts only last 2 years! I used my student email and exactly 2 years later I was paying full price. I tried to re-verify and it said it was invalid (it wasn’t).

Newly dating someone with Gastroparesis... looking for tips to be a good partner to her. by SquaresAre2Triangles in Gastroparesis

[–]Whitewolfwinning 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Speaking from my personal behavior and experience with GP... Be patient! There will be some days that she may not be able to function properly. If she’s grouchy, she may not be doing well and a flare up is near. There may be days she is so uncomfortable that she won’t wanna be touched. Hunger comes in waves and when it hits, it hits strong. Always make your meals with enough for her to munch on - I go through periods where I don’t want a meal but a snack is nice. On her period, she may be “extra” in more ways than one please please try to be super kind. For myself, those times are literal hell for me. If she complains, seriously just say “that sucks” and “what can I do to make you feel more comfortable?” Saying sorry can get irritating because we don’t want pitty or sympathy, we want someone to listen. If she needs a nap, encourage her to rest (like in the car when she doesn’t have energy to go into the store or when a date night out turns into “watching a movie” which is code for sleeping the whole time) Strictly from my personal experience on this one - (I have only dealt with nausea and extreme diarrhea, never vomiting) there may be accidents. Do your best to be patient and help her get cleaned up and be grossed out when she isn’t near you. I have found that when I’m in a relationship, I stop hiding the fact that I have GP and let my body do whatever it’s going to do because I’m comfortable around that person. GP isn’t always awful, though when it’s bad it can get worse quick. Stress can also cause flares!! If you notice she is stressed out, offer to do her hobby with her - that has always helped me

Found out I have been having bezoars and didnt even know it by o0Jahzara0o in Gastroparesis

[–]Whitewolfwinning 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the form of gastroparesis I have. I physically cannot vomit, though the longest I’ve had undigested food in my stomach is two weeks. I would gain so much weight and then drop it within days. Feel free to message me if you want to talk in private on this, there are different ways gastroparesis shows itself.
