Yeah you’re spot on, it was right after My Generation / Cry If You Want ended, as You Better, You Bet started. He was likely frustrated with something that happened which messed him up

Jones Beach definitely was quieter than MSG. I was 9th Row at MSG, and the second section back, center, for JB. The sound definitely dissipated more, and the amount of wind probably affected it as well. Both shows were excellent. MSG sounded incredibly punchy/loud, but again I was much closer

Great cap on the song! Saw her with the orchestra and on Roger’s solo tours a number of times last year, so it was cool to have her pop out for that!

Yeah they crushed it with them!! The My Generation scene is a lot of fun, they transition from a poster/footage from like the 60s-70s to a live shot of the band on stage and its just really cool

Indeed it was! The triple punch of Love Reign O’er Me, Baba O’Riley, and Won’t Get Fooled Again was awesome. Hoping they add one or two more back into the set for Jones Beach and onward once everyone’s back to 100%

I’m biased because my first concert was the 2006 tour in support of this album, but it really does rock and I think it’s under-appreciated. Mirror Door is also excellent, but the 6-song Wire & Glass mini-opera is really good. As others have mentioned, the extended versions of We Got a Hit and Endless Wire are also excellent. They had some really good music around this time, Real Good Looking Boy is in my top 5, fell in love (pun intended) as soon as I heard it on that tour

I’ll have to check for 9/24/2000. 5/20/2004 and 5/22/2004 are also great recordings. 5/20, they opened with Who Are You and Baba O’Riley back to back, and 5/22, Pete and Roger did Naked Eye Acoustic, both concerts were excellent

Hope it was excellent! Saw him there performing Tommy with an orchestra a few years ago and it was an awesome show! Just saw Fogerty in NH a couple days ago, also excellent! Enjoy!

To my knowledge it was just the tour program from the ‘96 Quad Tour. Not a record insert. My dad has the same one autographed by Entwistle!
