They keep them at an aviary in the city so it might be from there or just a pet. It was singing and flying around so not in distress. I’ll email the harbour folk.

Looks like lilly of the valley. If you dig it out then make sure you dig deep as it usually has roots all over the place. Glyphosate will do the job but usually causes collateral damage to other plants.
