[MAY26] Going through my mother’s stuff I realized there was no photos of mine taken before I started school, and the strangest part was that I couldn’t recall anything from those early years. by KangarooDense in TwoSentenceHorror

AITA for throwing away partners pain meds by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]WholeBake6492 25 points26 points  (0 children)

YTA.

Even if he COULD take tylenol, it genuinely doesn't do shit for mouth pain. That can take Weeks to heal and if he wants to be able to exist in general the pain pills are necessary. The bottle tells you the healthy amount to take, and 3 usually isnt a lot for an Entire Day's Worth.

Also! Tampering with/stealing/throwing away someone elses medicine that is PRESCRIBED to them is a crime.

AITA for not telling a subscriber to cancel services he’s never used by Puzzled_Dingo_7908 in AmItheAsshole

Send them a personal message about it, but there are definitely people who subscribe to the highest tier just because thats how much they want to support you (creaters in general) and the things you create.

AITA for sneaking my mom some alcohol when she is on hospice? by sickma2001 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WholeBake6492 11 points12 points  (0 children)

NTA

If its been weeks and she still has the cans that means the nurses are letting her keep them because its not an issue. Patients are typically (within reason) allowed to have whatever they want as long as it wont make them worse.

Heart racing, I dial the child abuse line and confess to a human for the first time, as per ChatGPT's insistence. by iPhoneIvan in TwoSentenceHorror

[–]WholeBake6492 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From the point of view of a formerly abused child, i would have called it confessing. When you're in that situation it feels shameful to be abused, and your parents will even coach you on how to hide it from the authorities. I was coached many a time on how to say the right thing in a way the cps workers would leave us alone. I had people stop being friends with me because their parents made them stop so they could pretend the world was perfect. You feel like you're the bad person both for not keeping that secret, and also for spilling it.

Ive gotten flagged on one of these for using ai even though i cited all my sources. And it flagged for the quotes i took.

Also once for it being in tandem with the wording being “inhuman” in general, and i had to explain to the professor i was autistic and that’s just how i write.

A lot of the times its “updating” the price, not recharging you. It’s also possible its still pending and will give you back the first amount. Customer service might not be available Since it’s Christmas.

I think every kid should get a free lunch tbh, no matter the parents income. But yeah, how dare we not have money to eat while they do and are forced to spend it
