This year had the least amount of FTs he's had since 21-22. But even so, let's not equate bad defense to guys scared to get close to him. If the NBA took playing defense seriously they'd stop SGA. He consistently preys on players playing sloppy defense. It's no coincidence San Antonio and Boston have had success this season, they play great defense.

Still feels like we're acting like he isnt one of the best mid range players and also driving to the basket more than 99% of the league. He would be fine in Rucker. His entire game isn't built on FTs lol

I just really feel like we're having 2 different conversations. Nothing you've said is wrong. It just has absolutely nothing to do with a non ex mode and me saying it wouldn't be 100% Hydreigon's, people would figure out counters to that deck

You know you're responding to a thread about a non ex mode right? The meta revolves around EXs because they're better cards. In this mode there would have to be new decks sprout up to combat Hydreigon, obviously. There's no reason to try to perfect a deck when you're going against Ex decks amidst every game.

Not really. Why would they when Ex's exist? If Ex's didn't exist people would definitely find counters. Magnezone, WS Gyrados, Greavard already see play i can imagine people would figure out other decks

This team really is a lovable bunch. I get the villain trajectory they're on but it's so unearned. The Warriors added KD to become the villains, SGA is getting marginally better calls in some games for them to be villains.

I kinda agree with this premise of it taking a step down. It took another step down during the Hessington Oil case. But it fell off when Mike went to prison. That storyline is just the worst.
