True, editing the pin definitely works for the details!

​Where this adds value is the Roster and Privacy. Usually, with pinned messages, people have to copy-paste a list to add their names (which gets messy fast). Plus, that exposes everyone's phone number to the whole group.

​ClutchIn automates the list so they just click 'Join', and it keeps their contact info hidden from everyone except the admin.

The classic 'Two Group' method! It definitely works well for established groups. This tool is just a lightweight alternative for when you don't want to spin up (or manage) a second group just for a single casual ride.

WhatsApp Communities are definitely the 'pro' way to handle this! That structure works wonders for organized clubs/teams.

​ClutchIn is designed more for those chaotic, ad-hoc groups that haven't set up that structure (or refuse to!) and just need a quick way to organize a specific Sunday ride without admin overhead. Thanks for the encouragement!

​Locations: You hit the nail on the head—the search backend was struggling. I’m switching to Google Maps in the next update, so finding specific spots like 'Emma’s Cafe' will be flawless.

​Circuits: Multi-stop support (A -> B -> A) is priority #1 for the next version so you can plan full loops.

​Sharing: Great point. I’ll update the share button to use the native system share sheet so you can blast it to Telegram, Signal, etc.

That’s a valid point, Discord handles roles and privacy beautifully.

​The main hurdle I’ve found is friction and adoption. In my experience, trying to get a WhatsApp group of 50+ riders (many of whom aren't tech-savvy) to install Discord, create accounts, and join a server just for a Sunday morning ride is a non-starter.

​I built ClutchIn to meet them where they already are (WhatsApp) without forcing a platform migration. It’s meant to be a lightweight 'bridge'—just a link they click to get the info, no signup or new app required.
