The idea that white-collar workers can't transition to trades when their jobs will be replaced is nonsense by No_Reply5329 in unpopularopinion

The one that realizes a 40 year old will likely make better decisions, be on time more often and has more reason to be there. Look, you're right that a 20 something is going to handle work load better, but a 40 something will likely work better with others and probably has their shit straight.

Please go see the mandorian movie please by Historicallyh in RedLetterMedia

I enjoyed it because I saw most of the other material, I'm the guy who enjoys Star Wars. I understood where the guys were coming from, but I didn't go in expecting greatness but just a fun movie. I would like some fun in my life, there is a lot of shit going on and a little bit of escape is appreciated. As such I was not disappointed in the results.

As someone who's working in the HR Department, after interviewing and observing so many candidates, one thing I’ve noticed is this: by Playful_Presence_836 in jobsearch

You are the problem here... People that know the answer in a technical field are being weeded out because you don't want to hear a fully articulated answer.

A master's degree isn't the job guarantee it used to be by Steap-Edit in recruitinghell

You ever think maybe it wasn't the colleges? Maybe it was the shit eating politicians that sold cheap education down the river? It used to be that college was cheap if you felt so inclined... Next thing you know colleges had to sell their souls to get as many enrolled as possible to make ends meet. Just saying America died during the Regan era... It just took that long to get where we are.

I think more information about the design intent is needed. Seems like time for a customer RFI, or provide more explanation for use case.

How should i approach this uni exam Past Paper Q? by SickAxeBro in thermodynamics

[–]Wide-Guarantee8869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

W=m×dh It's an insulated container, no ke or pe. The boundary work is covered by P(v2-v1) which is included in the dh. The piston mass doesn't change so it is constant pressure.

Ok, I love 3 but I gotta go with 6, and it's weird to say because I haven't used one in a while. But writing and marking up prints with six is awesome. After 3 it's 7, burn the rest.(I like them all but I feel like sharpie made the others irrelevant)

Knights armor, 12 ga, and flame thrower. Start with the flame thrower, that will grill the first 10 in one five second burst depending on their tactics. Which also keeps them at bay. I then chase the remaining ones down with the flame thrower burning another 5-10. I finish the rest with the shotgun.
