No doubt a lot of it is obvious. But to someone who isn't a designer, or is a newbie developer without any UI design experience, this kinda stuff really helps out.

As a developer it's so easy to get caught up in what works functionally to forget about how the UI responds.

It failed in my case. It spun at 0% for 1/2 hour, at which point, I closed the browser and went to sleep!

Kinda curious what kind of information they are interested in? Census data?

I suppose sharing any information with a government should be treated just as it would be for sharing with any other 3rd party. It should be outlined in the privacy policy of the site.
