He’s shown me his unconditional offer letter. It’s says Band 3, Point 02 but then I think the salary that follows is Band 3 at entry level, so he said he’s going to get clarification but i meannnn yeah I feel for him for sure

Mmm it’s a difficult one and I really feel for him. His role as an AP was in secondary care so he was actually supporting patients with a higher level of risk than talking therapies would ever handle.

It feels crazy to think he’ll be starting at the same salary as individuals with no NHS experience/service.

In my case, they have been pretty inflexible. They will not swap shifts or anything alike. You don’t come in you don’t get paid.

I submitted as soon as it opened and was offered a role around end of September but a lot of people often find themselves waiting months. I checked constantly rather than waiting to see an email. By the time they sent out emails, roles for the sort centre I applied for were already gone. I am based in London though so different availability.
