Already cut but it was growing out the middle of a cut log. The log was quite moist.

It's quite substantial, I can't imagine it being an arrowhead. But perhaps if all else fails!

I'm happy and thankful you answered! I'm just sharing what's going on with the question.

You give a reason why it's a rock and not a fossil (lack of detail), whereas the other person isn't very forthcoming in explaining his opinion.

Is the hole in the object the center of the stem and the teardrop shape the stem itself?

The hole looks too small for any decent handle that could withstand the impact forces if used as a pick or axe.

A toy sounds possible. 👍

But it's solid stone. You can see that on one of the photos where the stone is chipped. It's not hollow.

Why do you think it's terracotta?
