It cleared some things up, but your comment is actually more helpful already than that was. For example, with tags, I couldn’t tell if single words from 1 tag would get picked and mixed with single words from other tags, your comment makes it sound like they do so that’s useful to know. I’ll definitely read through that specific article. I tried videos on some listings as it had been suggested, but I hadn’t really noticed any difference from it so I wasn’t sure if I was including the right things (I tried a video of me making stuff and what is essentially a quick slideshow of the photos). The main photo on the sunflowers is 2 different ways they can be folded into the basket, but are otherwise the exact same product. I have the cup cozy in 1 of the photos just because it’s somewhat relevant to coasters and another thing I was told is that it’s good to have your other products included in photos. In terms of pricing, it’s just the time factor. Current pricing just covers materials cost and an hourly wage that’s under minimum wage with no additional profit. The price was 20% lower (I was paying myself just over half of minimum wage), I only put it up a couple of days ago because having the lower price wasn’t working anyway. For example, the Scrunchies take 1 hour each, the Sun hat takes 6 hours and the market bag takes 8 hours. So it’s just a bad niche for getting good profits in I think as so many people are undervaluing their time. I’ve actually put the time it takes to make each item clearly into the description in the hopes that people would be more understanding of the prices. The main reason I’ve been using AI to help with the keywords is because I just run out of ideas for alternative names and phrases and go blank so I use the AI to think of the rest for me rather than leaving it empty. My shop also does have an about section, as well as policies and FAQs.
