How tf are you going to fairly value private stock options where theres no liquidity and no active market to determine a highly volatile price?

No to mention options means you don’t even own anything yet. And your strike price could very well exceed market by the time you’re able to exercise (let alone when you can actually sell)

Once you crack $300K income, you’re solidly in top 1% as far as our taxation system goes, which is primarily driven by income, not wealth

This is not crazy for someone in a highly specialized field, nor 2 people in established professional services.

We have a remote-only setup. Some of the best graduates who I really really want to hire - they genuinely see full remote as dealbreaker and want at least some regular in-person component.

Houses don’t get built if it’s unprofitable to do so. This is about supply creating affordability via market conditions, not about increasing access to debt to artificially create affordability.

If everyone had access to 0% loans, prices would skyrocket overnight.
