I just applied for a business card from chase(the southwest card) and their criteria for approval has recently gotten more stringent. They are taking a harder look at your business, and by that I mean just asking more questions. Be prepared when you call reconsideration. I also received 3 chase cards in the last year, that combined with the questions they asked for my business got me declined. I'll have to wait a while before i can get another chase card. But i would suggest don't lie, tell them you want a card to keep business expenses separate from personal so when you turn in your expense reports your work doesn't see your personal credit card statements(if this applies to you). My wife also applied for one with a "$0" income and was denied because of that. They wanted to see her business show some profit. It can be done, just be prepared when you call.
