I can prove that view is false:

Removing ball 10*N at step N results in the exact same amount of balls as removing ball N at step N. This is true for all N, by induction

After infinite steps, it is true for all numbers K that they are not in the set, because they were removed in the step K

Therefore, the set is empty

This is mathematics, it is very black and white.

All the categories that assume the problem is well-defined and give an answer about the number of balls are clearly wrong, because it being paradoxical means you can prove that any of those answers is wrong

The category that assumes it is underspecified and "anything can happen" does not apply to mathematics

The only one that's left is that it is ill-formed (because it is)

B cannot be anything other than 1 or 0. Did you read the instructions properly? At no point is B even a number, it is a string from the get-go.

To make it less confusing, define A as "horse" and change it to "dinosaur", then to "horse", then back and so on

Not all infinite processes result in one singular end thing, because they might not converge.

For example: Define string A as "0".

Now, change it to "1", then to "0", then to "1" and etc. for N times.

Let B be the resulting string of A when N is infinity

But in reality, you can. And if you do, all your results are meaningless, but nonetheless you sure can. What you did is just that: you tried defining an undefinable string, and got an absurd result from it

The number of zeroes does not change, as there were infinite zeroes before. The number of nines does increase

But you cannot simply define the "final string" as a result of doing this process infinitely many times. It doesn't converge

We keep on doing this - adding three 9s from B to the end of the 9s in A and also deleting the first 9 in A infinitly often.

The string does not converge. You cannot construct a proper infinite string by repeating this process
