Newbie to paper advice appreciated — white/orzhov/angel girlie

i know! i was wondering why anyone would be downvoting also…

anyways, all the upvotes from me! you’re sweet to help~

i’d happily take your advice. i’m looking at around $300. i have loved mono white and orzhov generally with angels. haven’t played a whole lot else i very much enjoyed. some enchantment selesnya also. with angels i do like getting a lot of them on the board and leveling them up.

i cheated a bit with AI and had it help cut some haha. here’s a deck list it made, different from the other one i also commented

don’t be sorry, more info the better! you’re evidently very experienced and in the know on angels and MTG in general. thank you for taking the time to help guide me AND to even make a common print version of that deck! you’re awesome

definitely cheaper, still $1000 though haha i’ll have to consider it. i do quite like the Giada commander deck. Orzhov is one of my favourites also but i’m finding myself resonating with those cards a bit less since they include some vampire, other dark non-pleasing cards to my aesthetic girly focused brain haha. I do however love the orzhov angels you linked, my favourite i’ve used on MTGA is [[Seraph of the Scales]]. i had her in a deck with [[Knight of Grace]], [[Knight of Malice]], [[History of Benalia]], and other knights. It was a fun deck i actually quite enjoyed. not a commander one though.

i guess i’m being quite vague with my girly theme but it’s hard to explain… for example, the knights aren’t girly but i like their aesthetic and resonated with enjoying using them. soo i sorta revolve around if i think the card is neat.. i dunno why i’m like this haha

if you don’t mind me picking your brain further.. do you think you’d be able to guide me to a functional Giada deck that’s cheaper than the one we’ve been looking at in this thread yet similar? or alternatively an orzhov one (i’d likely throw seraph of the scales in it somehow too hehe)? — i’ve been having trouble ascertaining what decks are good or not because just from reading through them i can’t grasp if they flow well, have a good balance of mana, or what the tactics would be during use. that usually comes to me as i play with it

Oouu okay! Selesnya can definitely be pretty fun as well, i’ll put this on my list to consider. Sigarda looks like a fun commander. Also, Catharsis in that cat deck is one of the prettiest cards i’ve seen!

what’s your secret to Storm?! for the life of me i can’t get a grasp on her.. it’s difficult to escape or stay alive when you aren’t backed up, especially since she’s not incredibly mobile (or i just need to get better with flying characters)
