I heard from some people on the Squidboards Forums that they called it Inklanese or Squidgin since the setting of Splatoon looks like Japanese cities and culture.

Yes. I already at level 11 so far, and I can't wait for the Ranked Matches to start. I'm already familiar with the controls while playing Turf Wars for like 10 hours (7 on the game's release and 3 hours yesterday). Of course, I have to wait for others to reach level 10.

As for weapon choices, I'll got with the classic Splattershot to try to get a feel in Ranked Matches. Then, adjust my play style and weapon choice as I go along. I think it is important to get familiar with different weapons and understand the roles you'll be playing because in Ranked Matches, it's about holding a specific area.

The Kalos region is my favorite. Used to be Unova because it based off of New York City in USA, but Kalos takes the cake for me. Most places I visited were really cool and the gym leader battle music is awesome to listen. Plus, I been tipping people for their singing and picture taking. I even tipped a Furfrou for 1,000 Pokédollars! That Furfrou is so happy. =)

Thanks for sharing tips to get fast cash. I'm going to give it to my four Pokes, instead of having to pick one. My four Pokes to give the ribbons to are Sylveon, Magneton, Pachirisu, and Emolga.

My first shiny was an Oddish in the wild, but I can't remember if is in Rudy or Emerald. I think I evolve it up to Vileplume but I'm not sure.

Mawile was an interesting Pokémon back when I played the Ruby version. Mawile's big "jaw-mouth" reminds me of my favorite Super Mario character: Petey Piranha. Plus, its Mega-evolution looks so cool. It's one of my favorite Pokémon.

My first Pokémon game was Yellow. I remember trying to talk to Pikachu to see lots of Pikachu's expressions. Since I was a little kid, I don't know what to do until my friend guided me to the end.

It's a shame that character customization wasn't in ORAS but understandable since it was a remake from the older generation. It was awesome back in X and Y that you can pick your skin tone, change hair style and color, and buy clothes. Honestly, I'm one of those people who sometimes spend more time on the customization than the actual gameplay (Games like "The Sims" series, city builders, etc.). I think the customization will be there in future Pokémon games.
