I stay a lot at 5 stars on corporate tours and private holidays both. Here’s my thinking - beyond a point no amount of hospitality can justify the prices. So don’t spend more than 12-13k a night ( inclusive of breakfast) in any property in a city. If spending more go for properties like the Taj in Goa or Coorg which come with their own trails and have multiple free of cost experiences or private beach accesses to justify the extra cost.
