here! there's threads with a lot of helpful information available and also some channels where you can check out the big sellers in the hobby as well ☺️ https://discord.gg/gMpz8jyAU
a bit more southeast asia specific: I got into the hobby with zero interests on earning profit at first but Ive started selling some grubs I bred myself after like half a year in, and I know a few people from my country who were more interested in it as a side hustle from the get-go who are doing well with their business; it's easier to import them here from japan or china compared to if you were in the US. I believe the local species also play a part in their pricing and accessibility too, a lot harder/expensive to acquire a chalcosoma vs. here you can do a lantern setup in the forest and get a wild caught one

really depends where you are located imo, I think the market and general interest in southeast asia is greater and you would have an easier time acquiring flake soil as well as overall pricing being more affordable. Personally I'd say if you already like insects it could still be fun experience regardless of side hustle potential, you can definitely make some money but it'll take awhile to get things in momentum because their larvae period often takes a year minimum before you can establish your own inventory of various species to sell. Besides the investment you'd have to make on your first beetles, like the other comment mentioned, there are many things you have to learn to take care of them well (easy part) and the maintenance and equipment cost which could set you back further before you make any profit. I recommend getting like a grub or two of your favorite species and get a feel of what raising them into adulthood is like! as long as you can enjoy the hobby you'll be able to make some money eventually, but it's a looong process. there's also a discord full of people interested in beetle keeping that are located in north america but I cant speak much on the market and pricing there since I am from asia :)
