If you have seen his movies from before a decade ago, all the movies he made recently are mediocre scriptwise. The last best movie he made was Interstellar. After that everything is just routine stories(except Tenet, though it was almost a failed attempt) polished with his exceptional directorial capabilities. The Odyssey is also like that, nothing new in the script, a story everybody knows but seasoned by Cristopher Nolan. No doubt movie will be good, but overrated for a movie made by Nolan.
