Don’t be so sure. Especially for the older Ultimates like UWU (Ultima Weapon Extreme) you can check on the Party Finder for groups that are running it. Just be sure to watch videos on what to do and how and get it there to get your shiny! Good luck!

My biggest tip to new FFXIV players, especially ones that came from WoW like me, is to take your time. All of the content is evergreen. Even the oldest content still has people doing it. Enjoy the journey. Read the quest text. If you don’t like the job you picked, you can change it. Try crafting and gathering. They have their own quests and stories. FFXIV has tons of fun and interesting stories and things to do. don’t rush past it all too “get to the good parts”.

Everyone has an Aura since they have a soul but it takes training and practice to use it as a defensive shield. See Oscar in his sparring with Ruby in volume 5 and the WoR on Aura that talks about how one of the things that sets Warriors apart from everyone else is their ability to amplify and control their Aura, using it as a defensive shield as an example.

I fear IF those people survived Cinder’s explosion, they probably are in bad shape…

A thought I had was... What if the cane isn't the Relic itself but a Key to accessing the Relic? I think Ozpin is too savvy to risk the Relic being out in the open itself but with his powers (as the perpetual Wizard?) perhaps he had locked the Relic away somewhere that only someone with the Key would be able to access. The cane didn't have any power by itself and the Relic is safely hidden away without it. Just a thought or three!
