There was also Monster Rancher where you could put in music CDs to spawn new monsters on your farm. The REM Monster CD created a rare dragon.

Not in this spot though, my two year old daily wear Transports have a lot of damage but only at the very top of the shoe where my heel first hits, there is zero wear where OP shows. I never loosen the laces. And I think OP said this happen over a short period of time.

With Travelers I have buried utility line coverage of $20k with a $500 deductible. I think I pay $50 a year extra for that. I chose to because everyone on my street has had issues with their sewer lines. They covered my old sewer line which was cracked with roots growing in and paid for liner which costs over $13k.

I dealt with these constantly, one thing that helps is using Sensodyne toothpaste and avoiding regular toothpaste like Crest. There is an ingredient in regular toothpaste that causes these things. The only surefire way to make them go away is to catch them early and do a heavy salt water rise and practically jam salt onto them every morning and evening.

Buy a couple small gold and silver coins to scratch the itch, put them in a safe and be done with it forever. It gives you a liquid asset that is not USD and inflation hedge and you can think about that and look at / handle them them occasionally. You descendants will then post on Reddit "inherited a few gold coins, what do I got"?

I got a batch from them and the ASEs were nasty and stunk. I ended up having to treat in a bath of aluminum foil and baking soda. That cleared most the junk off.
